Time to Rise Again

"Alright."
Even though she knew that there was no need to be careful here she just reassured him. They walked ahead and she saw Asuka at the doorway, as if she had been waiting for them.
"Hey, Asuka!"

 

"Long time, no see," Crimson said as he noticed Asuka.

Luna gave a sigh, happy to see everyone was reunited once again.

 

Asuka nodded once, then moved to allow them inside. She heard Leon coming down the stairs and offered him a slight smile, hoping he wouldn't be annoyed by everyone being present. As soon as the three were in the bar, she closed and locked the door once more. Thankfully Kuragari hadn't caused too much damage to the actual building, so the place was still in good shape.
Walking behind the counter of the bar, she pulled out one of the mugs to survive the dark beast's attack and filled it halfway with beer. She downed it quickly, then said to the others, "This place is called Seventh Heaven, named after a bar that was home to a bold resistance movement to save the world. It's been my family's home for four generations, and I'd offer you drinks but..." she trailed off, looking at them, "Leon's probably the only one old enough for anything beyond apple juice."

 

She laughed at that statement. She knew it was true but it didn't offend her at all.
"No thanks. Maybe just a glass of water for me. I'm parched."
She took the glass and nodded to show her thanks. She downed it all quickly and then turned to see that Leon was coming down the stairs.
"So... I guess the gang's back together, huh?"

 

Shinji had to chuckle in respond of Asuka's humorous comment. "If only that were true for me, I'm 19 so alcohol's not a big problem for me, I don't drink all the time though, only rarely since I don't exactly want to know my drinking limit." He commented, he did drink vodka or wine at age of 18 on occasion in Twilight Town if was to celebrate something or have a change in a variety of drinks.

"For now, we're together Cat...still, this city seems to have been ravaged by a fearsome opponent since I saw that structure being surrounded by this town." Shinji noted, he was talking about Shinra HQ and that Edge was built around the ruins of what once was Midgar.

 

Cat nodded. She knew it was true and she wanted to try and change this world, for the better.
"Well, we may not be able to fight Kuragari, but we can still help this place by getting rid of heartless. We aren't totally useless here so why don't we show people why we can do to help?"

 

Asuka shot Shinji a look. "We don't serve underage here."
She turned her attention to Cat. "I know where the Heartless are attracted to, and it's likely that's where Kuragari stays. Visible from anywhere in Edge or Midgar...the old Shinra building. No one goes near it or in it. There's a hell of a lot of history there, and a hell of a lot of darkness. I won't lie and tell you that as long as we're fighting together we'll win. It'll be dangerous."
"It would be suicide to try going there at night. If you're all feeling prepared in the morning, we'll go at dawn," Asuka said, leaning against the bar counter, "But only if your hearts are strong enough."

I'm gonna make an OOC thread for people to make new OCs but this is just a heads up for anyone who's interested.

Cat was nervous about what might lie ahead. She didn't know what to expect from the next fight but she was ready. She almost felt at ease with herself. She had Sky and all her friends by her side so even if her heart wasn't strong enough, she had people to count on for strength.
