Anybody want to watch the rest of this series for me? Because I would love to just not.

I stared in April and so far I've watched 31 out of 50 eps of Turn A Gundam, which is the last Gundam series I have to watch.

Everyone always wonders what they would tell their past self. Well I would tell my past self not to set a goal to watch every Gundam series because towards the end of it you're going to just stop caring and give <0 ****s. I mean seriously, when I watch it it's 20 minutes of pure agonizing boredom. And it's not the series fault, if I was still into Gundam (or anime at all for that matter) like I was 3 or 4 years ago this wouldn't be a problem, but well, here we are.

And oh yeah, I decided I would finish this before college... which starts in two weeks. I don't want this foolish goal of mine that I set years ago bleeding into this new part of life.

If you need to force yourself to watch something, it's probably not a good idea to bother finishing it at that time, if ever.

On the one hand, it's important to keep your oaths. On the other hand, it's important to fill your life with things that serve you and purge it of things that don't. If you're 31 episodes in and you still don't like it, you're probably not gonna start liking it any time soon.

That said, have you seen 08th MS Team? :L

Dude, if it's bothering you, chances are if you finish your goal and start college, you'll start regretting doing it because you'll come up with other things/goals you could've done with all that time.

I think it's better to savor Gundam than to gulp it all down. Makes for a better experience I think since you can just watch the episodes any time and not have to worry about finishing em too fast.

That's what I've been tossing around in my head for a while now. I've been trying to reformat my life in a way where I'm not doing things to fill out some self-imposed goal, but rather do things that I actually enjoy. I know those type of things can be good, but I have a habit of setting ridiculous goals for myself that take all of the enjoyment out of entertainment, case in point: Gundam. It's not that I don't think the series is good, it's actually one of the better ones, it's that I don't care for Gundam as much as I did at the time that I started watching the series. It's actually been kinda ruined for me for various reasons. However, despite this new way of doing things I want to do rather than doing things I feel like I have to do (when it comes to entertainment), I do want to finish this goal since I've put so much time into it and I'm so close to finishing.

    yes and I loved it.
