    According to Dissidia it's "Tee-dus"
    but I've always pronounced it Tidus. It sounds nicer to me.

    Tee-dus for the win here. James Arnold Taylor (his voice actor) said it was in an interview, in English trailers and commercials they call him Tidus, and in Japanese pronunciation it is Teedus/Teedusu. They also call him this in Dissidia and Selphie is just an idiot. Problem Solved

    Y'know, Wakka actually mentions his name during a voiced conversation in Kingdom Hearts, and he pronounces it with a long E sound. So pretty much anywhere it's been said confirms that's the proper pronunciation.

    I still hate it, but I'm personally a stickler for these things, so I know which one I'm calling him.

    I've always pronounced it Tai-dus. Just sounds cooler, if you ask me.
