Tides of war- Ch.1, States of confusion

Hiro flew back up. "No good. It got away. We're going to have to go through a maze if we ever are gonna' get Diana back." Chronix sighed. "Why not I just have Theo use his Cobalt and close off all the tunnels?" "BECAUSE COBALT DOESN'T WORK LIKE THAT!" Theo yelled, still trying to cut Zane's ropes. "And we need this bloodling's help because he has good in the dark eyesight and we don't." Theo said, sawing at the ropes wildly. "Excuse me? I can see fine in the dark." Hiro said. "I was BUILT that way." Chronix looked over at Hiro. "You were built?" "No." Hiro replied.

 

Panthera pounced on Blade. " How can you understand me!?"

" LET ME GO!!" Diana yelled trying to reach her sword but his grip on her was too tight.

 

"i can't say" Blade said

 

Theo finally managed to cut the ropes, then his knife broke. "Gotcha'!" he said as he grabbed Zane. Chronix flew down towards the hole and went into one tunnel, while Hiro went for another. Theo smiled evilly then dropped Zane into the hole, quickly following.

 

" So everything I've said to Diana you could hear!?" Panthera said trying to hold back his claws.

 

Zane yelled as he fell down into the black pit.


Diana was brought far into the maze of tunnels, all the way into the middle of it, and she was thrown into a cage. The creature began to jump up and down, making strange monkey like noises. Around her, peering eyes could be seen, watching within the shadows. For you see, she appeared to be within a village

 

"yea i guess so" Blade said

 

She stared at the eyes that were staring at her. She couldn't see anything else. In her panic she quickly took out her sword.

" I need to know how you can understand me!" Panthera said.

 

Theo laughed as he grabbed Zane again, but since he couldn't fly, he cut Zane's net open and used it as a very torn-up looking parachute that, for some reason, WORKED! Holding Zane's shirt with one hand and the net with the other, Theo alighted gently to the ground and took the cave near where Chronix had run into.

 

"like i said before i can't say" Blade said

 

Lauphter could be heard amongst the groups of people as they watched her panic

Zane grumbled when he got to the ground. "Great, well aint this just dandy. I'm stuck travlen with you guys then"

 

Theo laughed at Zane. "Don't be such a whiner, you sound like a spoiled brat when you do. Or do you care of the opinion of a stooge?" Theo said, grinning evilly back at Zane as he ran through the tunnel.

 

" TELL ME!!" He growled.

Diana looked at all of the eyes. " W..who are you? What are you?" She asked.

 

Blades eyes glowed red "get off me" Blade said in a demonic voice

 

A man could be heard talking in the shadows, in a foreign language. They all began to talk in the foreign language, amongst eachother.

"SHut it" zane said, as he followed

 

Theo smirked. "Bite me" he replied to Zane.

Chronix ran down the tunnel, and he could hear strange voices ahead. "This must be the place," he said to himself.

 

They all suddenly started to chant something, and they came out, carrying all different kinds of weapons. They all looked starved to death, and they had their eyes on one person, and that was Diana. THey were cannibals

 

Chronix heard the chanting. "That isn't good." He pulled out his sword and his wing sprouted out of his back again, the glassy blue fire surrounding his sword again. Chronix quickened his pace.

 

When Diana realized what they were she screamed. Her hand started shaking as she gripped her sword tighter.

" NOT UNTIL YOU TELL ME HOW YOU CAN UNDERSTAND ME!!!"

 

Blade knocked panthera off of him
