Tides of war- Ch.1, States of confusion

" I don't think it's the end of the world but I do think I know the angel your talking about. I've met him once before." Diana said kindly.

 

Blade was now inside the weapons store looking around

 

"Fine. You want to know my name? If it means I can have a peaceful vacation from the bloodshed fest, here's my name. Remember. CHRONIX THEODORA. Got it memorized?" Chronix said, exasperated.

OOC: (Ha ha! I stole a line from Axel! PH33R M3!)

 

"You........YOU MET THE ANGEL OF DEATH! By the gods, you are blessed. ANd he did not take your life?" he asked.

 

"For god's sake, lady, will you leave me alone!" Chronix was now sprinting to get away from Barandy, who seemed obsessed with him. Theo was on the sidelines, laughing at the scene.

 

" No he saved my life. Or I think that was him." Daina said.

 

Hiro walked through an alley showing off his wings in public to keep people away from him. Most of the time when he did this, everybody stayed away because they thought of him as a dark harbinger of death. He didn't know why, but he liked the effects.

"OH MY GOD LADY, LEAVE ME ALONE!!!" Chronix yelled as he ran through town, right past Hiro, with Barandy hot on his trails. Hiro frowned. "This has not been a good day..." he muttered to himself.

 

"Well then, I suppose that you are blessed" the old man said. "If he saved you, then I am certain that you must have talked to him atleast. Would you know why he was flying north from here?" the man asked.

 

Diana shook her head. " No I do not know." Diana said.

 

"So... tired... can't... keep... running..." Chronix collapsed in the streets as Barandy, who didn't seem tired in the least, walked up next to him.

 

"I see." the old man said. "Well then, I am honored to be graced by the presence of a holy person, such as yourself. Tell me, is there anything that you are having trouble with?" the old man asked, wanting to help her in any way that he could

 

" Yes I was wondering if you knew where the teleporter was around here, or if there even is one." Diana said.

 

"Heey, are you okay?" Barandy asked, poking Chronix, who was asleep on the ground. Theo was laughing hysterically from the sidelines and Hiro was having an eye twitching problem.

 

"Ah yes. Well, it broke down quite some time ago, and there is only one in town. I'm afraid that it won't be up in running for a week or so" the old man said to her

 

" Well then I gues we're going to have to find another one, or just stick around. But thank you so much for your help. Is there anything that I can do for you?" Diana asked even though she knew exactly what she could do to thank him.

 

Chronix woke up in an inn. Quite Ironic, eh?

 

"No, but there is a way for you to get off of the island. Near by, there is a ship, which will be travling north." the old man siad

 

" Thank you, thank you so much. Here I want you to have this, it should get you back on your feet. It's for helping me." Diana said handing him a small sack of gold but it was still enough to help him.

 

"Bless your soul" the man said graciously, as he began to slowly walk away. "Thank you so much"

 

Diana smiled. " It's no problem, thank you again." Diana said to him. " Ok no we have to go find everyone else and tell them the news." She said to Panthera and began to walk away to find them.
