Tides of war- Ch.1, States of confusion

" Stop calling me blondy and stop calling him flea bag." Diana said.

 

BLade was too busy looking at the swords at a weapons store nearby

 

"So Chronix," Theo said after they had passed three towns(Theo accidentally hit the high speed throttle on the side of his bike), "Do you want to stop here or keep going?" Chronix shook his head firmly, back to his former state of hatred and cynicism. "We keep going. The less I have to put the 'Joker' act on, the less I have to use my face for information needed by somebody I hope will shrivel up and die." Theo turned, not thinking, and looked surprised, then got clipped by Hiro's hand "Keep your eyes on the road, Theo." Hiro said, menacingly. Theo was in shock that Chronix had said that. Only the one with the red eyes had seemed mean, even the Soul Collector(He had like four of those in his town, and two of them were in training) didn't seem nasty, but only until he spoke. Everybody else seemed fine, so what grudge did Chronix have against them that he hated them so much? Theo just shook his head and kept riding until he heard Chronix say where to stop.

 

"Why should I?" zane asked.

 

" Because it's degrating and I don't like it." Diana said.

 

"Do you think that I care? Well whatever. Listen blondy, I don't plan on wasting time, so can you just go and look for a teleporter" he said.

 

BLade was ignoring then and continued to look at the swords

 

" Fine whatever." Diana said and started walking in the direction where he said for her to go.

 

"We'll stop here." Chronix pointed to the town they were coming up on. Somehow, they had reached an area right on the ocean and there was a massive cliff side city on top. "We can rest here for a few days." Chronix drove up towards the city and walked towards the guard after he parked.

 

"Stupid brod" he muttered as he walked off.

 

Panther looked back at Zane and growled, he'd heard what he'd said.

 

Chronix walked up to the guard. "Excuse me, sir, what town is this?" The guard smirked and pointed at the sign at the base of the stairs behind him. The sign said "This leads to Coastline Town." Chronix read the sign over. "Ah. Well, you do allow two princes and an assassin free stay, right?" The guard laughed. "Why would two princes NOT have royal guards except for an assassin?" "Because our assassin and our fighting put together is enough to protect us." The guard looked Chronix over, hen saw a shimmer of light in Chronix's hand that exploded into a sword. The same was true of Theo and Hiro. "Good enough. Well, if you are princes, what town do you come from?" the guard asked. "Thero city." Theo answered for them. "Fine. Go on ahead, 'prince'." Th guard obviously didn't believe them.

 

Zane walked through town, looking from left to right. By the looks of things, the town was near the oceon, and it seemed pretty lively. He looked around for a teleporter, but he couldn't find anything.

 

Diana looked for the teleporter as Panthera watched the people walking by.

Chronix walked around the city, getting frequent stares from the people in it.

 

Near where Diana was, a crowd of people was gathered around what appeared to be a homeless man. "I'm tellen ya. I saw it. I saw it mehself. The angel of death, flyen right over head. The thing had giant black wings, and it had a fearsome look. It's the end of the world. THE END!!!!!" the homeless man yelled, and the crowd started lauphing as they started walking away from him. "Dam old man finally lost it" one of the civilians muttered. "Nah. He's just tryen to get some attention by tellen fools stories"

 

Somebody ran up to Chronix. She had brown hair, and it was spiky. "Do I know you from somewhere?" she asked, holding a notebook and some pencils in her hands. Chronix figured she was drawing him. "No. I don't know this place, and I certainly don't know you. Now please leave me alone." Chronix began to walk away, but was soon pestered by the girl again. "I SWEAR I know you! How 'bout this: My name's Barandy, how about you?" Chronix walked away a few inches, but was being tailed by Barandy. Sighing, Chronix thought to himself ~This is going to be a LONG day.~

OOC: (Barandy doesn't really fight, but she tends to pop up a lot, but not very often, so I'm not putting her down.)

 

Cid walked trough the city "Crap, my reputation's has come before me, again"Cid thought as several civilians came ruining up to him asking if he could bring back their loved ones.

 

Diana waited for the crowd to disperse before she walked over and bent down next to the man. Panthera was waiting a few feet away. " Excuse me sir, but I couldn't help over hearing what you had said. What was it that you were talking about? An angel with black wings?" Diana asked him in a very kind and sweet voice.

 

"Why....why yes, yes I did. I saw it yesterday, when the 3 suns were positioned at solar noon (I love talkens smart ^_^). There...there was a man flying through the air with large black wings. He seemed to be in his late 20's. Normally, seeing an angel would be good luck....but......that was no angel. No, no angel at all. An angel can't have black wings. It.......it could only mean that the end is coming. Yes, yes, the end" the old man babbled.

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN THAT'S THE ONLY WAY OFF? LIKE HELL!" thorn yelled as he started walking away from the area, not even concidering trying to get off the desert island using a method such as THAT.
