Tides of war- Ch.1, States of confusion

The thing then bumped against Diana again

 

Once again Diana gave out a yelp and fell to the ground. While still sitting in the dirt she pulled out her sword. " What is it? Where is it?" She said looking around.

 

Zane started lauphing. "That's what we get for goin into the desert" he said.

 

" You know what it is! What is it!!?" Diana yelled at him.

 

"Wow, you need to get out more. Havn't you ever heard of sand sharks?" zane asked

 

" Sand sharks? But I thought they were just a myth." Diana said, still sitting on the ground.

 

"Dam, that hair color sure says somethen about you" zane said, as his nails became claws. "Well I got even more news for ya. If one of them found us, then it won't take to long until more of them come" he said

 

Diana didn't like how he made fun of her but she tried to ignore it and focus at the task at hand. She had her sword ready and Panthera was right next to her, keeping his eyes out for the Sand shark.

 

Chronix felt something jolt his bike. He turned to look at Theo. "Sand sharks." Hiro said, landing down on the ground. "One good Black Nova should get rid of them." Hiro charged up a dark energy sphere in his hand. "And it should kill us too, if we're suddenly done with the mission to the world." Chronix replied, grabbing Hiro's wrist.

 

Lumps could be seen in the sand, moving towards there area. "Hey blondy, I hear that they like to eat the stupid ones first" zane said to her as he chuckled a little

 

" Oh sorry to hear you'll be leaving us so soon. " Diana said to him not taking her eyes off the lump moving in the sand.

 

Hiro realized Chronix was right and shot the sphere high into the air, where it exploded into a huge nova, then disappeared. Chronix shook his head and punched Hiro. "We're trying to be unnoticed, remember?"

 

"ITS THEM!" zane said happily. "Well then losers, I don't know about you, but I don't plan on gettin eaten" he said as he started running towards where the flare was. Large lumps were begining to circle in on everyone

 

" Let's get out of here." Diana said to Panthera and started running, with him by her side.

 

Theo smirked at Chronix. "Why don't you want to be around people? I don't see how they've hurt you any." Chronix looked at him. "Well, let's just say that I'm not a huge fan of royalty and bloodlings." Chronix was referring to the group of easily recognized voices he had started hearing again. Chronix was no good with faces, but voices were always memorized.

 

"Yep, I recognize these guys." zane said, recognizing them a little bit. "Better pick up speed" he said to them all, as they followed (i'm sure they wont mind if I god mod a little, since I'm sure that they don't want their charecters to be eaten my sand sharks)

 

Diana began to run faster.

 

OOC: (Well, I know I wouldn't mind. I have a head cold, and I'm having trouble typing without fixing mistakes left and right. So I probably wouldn't notice.)

bic: "HEY YOU UP THERE. YOU GUYS KNOW WHERE THE NEAREST TELEPORTER IS?" zane yelled at the people who had set off the flare

 

Chronix saw them, and he immediately started his bike, turned around and left. Theo looked after him, mouth gaping open. How many times had Chronix done THAT in his life, running away from people he didn't like and hoping he didn't have to kill them? Theo shook his head and turned around. Looking at Hiro, he and Hiro both shrugged. Chronix obviously knew them, but they didn't. "Well," Hiro began. "The nearest teleporter I saw was 50 miles west of here. But, that place is run down with thugs and all sorts of bad stuff, so you won't want to go there. As for me, Theo and Chronix, where ever the heck he is, We're just esavating cities."
