Tides of war- Ch.1, States of confusion

Zane slowly started to get up, and weakly walked over to Diana. "Alrite now, give me the key" he said to her

 

" Oh right, here. And thank you." She said handing him the key.

 

Zane ignored what she said as he grabbed the key and walked over to the access machine (where you stick the key in). he then stuck the key into it, and twisted it, as the machine began to light up, and a pad made of machinery began lighting up, and in the middle, a large green area lit up. "Alrite. You and the pet go stand on the green thing, and it should teleport you" zane said

 

"What are you guys doing?"Cid asked walking towards them

 

"I'm taken her through the teleporter" zane said to Cid.

 

"thanks mister obvious, i was more concirned about where she's heading and why"Cid said

 

"None of your buissness" zane said to Cid

 

"you don't really have a choice"Cid said as several undead archers pointed their arrows towards Zane

 

Zane grinned. "I'm a bloodling, not I human. I can take it" zane said. He was only bluffing though. If he lost any more blood, then he probably wouldn't even be able to fight anymore.

 

"okey i'll fire then"Cid said lowering his hand

 

"Go right ahead" Zane said. There was a major quality about him, and that was that he almost never chickend out of something

 

"to bad"Cid said as all the arrows fired at once

 

" CID NO!!!" Diana yelled.

 

The arrows pierced into Zane, as he suddenly fell to his knees, and almost fell forward, but used his hands to keep himself in place. He then started pulling arrows out of himself. "Told you" he said

 

"Want another round?"Cid asked

 

"Sure thing" zane said.

 

"jerk"Cid said as he fired one more time

 

Zane coughed up a bit of blood, as he collapsed on the floor, due to all of the arrows. He weakly said "That the best you got?"

 

Diana ran up to Zane. " CID PLEASE STOP!!" She yelled.

 

"Oh sorry, I just don't trust boodlings"Cid said angry
