Tides of war- Ch.1, States of confusion

"Good. Also, he might want to make sure that he doesn not struggle since if he does, then I will most likely end up dropping you both by accident" the man said. "Now I'm going to have to pick up your friend here first" the man said as he started walking towards panthera

 

He growled lightly. " It's ok Panthera calm down." Diana said to him.

 

The man picked up panthera with surprising ease. He then walked towards the balcany and said "Please grab hold onto my neck. You might have to ride piggy back if I'm going to get you down"

 

Diana nodded and did as she was told, carefully wrapping her arms around his neck.

 

"Alrite, hold on" the man said as he jumped off of the balcany, and he slowly floated down towards the ground, and he flapped his powerful black angelic wings

 

Diana clung to him. Panthera looked down at the ground and wanted to get down. He started to squirm but stopped when he remembered what the man had said before.

 

THe man finally reached the bottem, and then put down panthera. "Alrite now, get off, and follow me" the man said as he began running towards the center of town.

 

Diana let go and ran behind him with Panthera next to her.

 

As the man ran, a few lizard men could be seen up ahead, but as he approached them, dark energy began to appear around his hands, and he punched forward, sending dark energy at the lizard men, and when they were hit by it, they were suddenly set a flame by dark fire. "Hurry and don't pay any mind to them" he said

 

Diana started to slow down but Panthera nuged her and she sped back up.

 

As they ran, more and more lizard men got in the way, but the man kept doing the same exsact thing. They were approaching a fork in the road, one way turning towards a road, and the other way heading into an allyway. "Ok then, we'll just make this turn, and...." the man started to say, but as soon as he came upon the turn, and he looked down the road, hundreds of lizard men were standing there. Many bodies layed across the road, including those of soldiers, since the main army had not even arrived yet. THe man grinned. "Ok now, listen" he started saying as he plucked two large black feathures from his wings. "Take these, and go down that way. WHen you reach the end, then make a right into the next ally way. I have someone there waiting that you can trust" the man said, as he reached into his pocket, and pulled out a key. "Take this key, and when you get to the teleporter, then use it as the teleportation key, and it will teleport you to your next destination, got it?" the man said

 

Diana nodded. " Yes and thank you. So much." She said taking the key and running down the allyway.

 

"TRUST ME. JUST TELL THE FIRST PERSON THAT YOU SEE THAT CREED ASKED HIM TO HELP YA OUT!" the man yelled, before facing the lizard men. "And now that she is gone, I can finally stop holding back" he said as his body began to glow with a dark aura surrounding him. A dark grin appeared on his face then.

Down the very ally way which Creed had been talking about, was a man, though it was unclear of what his face looked like, since he was turned away from Diana's direction, and was walking slowly

 

" Excuse me sir! Sir!" Diana said to the man. " Please sir Creed asked you to help us out I guess." She said.

 

Chronix saw that it was an Angelman survivor. It was the one with green hair who took the full blow from the tank. He rode up closer, then stopped. Chronix tried a name. "Tsero?" The Angelman shook his head. "No. Horus." The figure rode up beside Chronix and stopped. His short green hair that covered his right eye sort of moved along with the suddenly blowing wind. "A true tragedy, you two have had. Theo, you and Chronix have just lost your father. Jack Swade. Or rather, Dragoon Jackson Theodora. He was a good soul. Sure, he never did a d*mned thing to help my kind any, but he was good hearted through and through. Well, I guess this is it then. I only have so much time to live. Once I'm gone, the Angelmen are permanently extinct." Horus looked down and spread his wings just enough that he shielded everybody from the harsh light ahead of them. It was morning, the sun was coming over the hills. Horus looked up to the sky, and then he faded into the air, and one last nod with a smile was pointed to Chronix and Theo. Then, an Angel appeared beside him, apparently his brother, and then they were both gone up to heaven.

 

"CREED'S HERE???" Zane yelled as he twisted around, and when he saw Diana, he was reluctant, at first, but then he saw the two feathures in his hand. "WHERE IS HE. TELL ME NOW!!" he yelled

 

" YOU!!" She said when she recognized him. Panthera growled and snarled.

 

"HOW DO YOU KNOW CREED!" Zane yelled

 

" He just saved my life." Diana said.

 

"Why?!?!?!" Zane asked.
