Tides of war- Ch.1, States of confusion

OOC: (We'd better get back to the RP soon, but just this one more thing first: I actually found the complete rock and roll version of that song. I call it the ultimate song. :D)

OOC: (Yesh, back to the RP)

 

Zane sighed, as he hid in an ally way. He made sure to stay quiet, as that would be where he would have to wait for now, until he had the oppertunity to find some clothes to hide in

 

Cid run straight passed him heading for the castle

 

Chronix noticed Jack had gotten very white when he woke up, but he wasn't awake for long as when he looked at Jack again and saw that his face was still bleeding, Chronix passed out again. Theo sighed. "You know, the bad thing about being Hemophobic is that it always bites you in the *** every time at the wrong times." Theo laughed harshly, remembering that Chronix always had been a bit jumpy about getting hurt and bleeding. Theo had never thought it would escalate to passing out, though.

Ora looked away from Jack to Theo and noticed Chronix was passed out. again. "Did you say he was... Hemophobic?" Ora asked, not thinking he heard Theo right. "Yeah, I did." Theo replied, pushing his shoulder length white hair out of his face. Ora sighed. "We're going to have to fix that, aren't we?" Theo laughed again, this time a bit more harshly.

 

Panthera jumped on Diana's bed. Diana woke with a start. " Panthera!! What! What is it!?" She asked. " ZANE ESCAPED!! He said to her. " So what. He was going to anyway." Diana said as she rolled over. " What are you talking about!? Are you nuts!? He ESCAPED!!!" Panthera said running to the other side of the bed to face her. " WHO CARES!" Diana said. " Whatever you know best...I guess." He said.

 

OOC: (This tank mentioned here is not too advanced in technology. Only slightly.)

Jack's face finally got its color back after he realized nothing was going to happen. Chronix woke up to see Jack cleaning up his face, and realized for some reason he wasn't fainting because there was still blood in sight. "Good you're awake." Ora said, holding a needle in Chronix's arm. It was full of an odd purple liquid. "This is a special antidote for you Hemophobia problem. I made it just in case. So you shouldn't have much more problems now. Maybe a slight jumpiness, but no fainting." Chronix was surprised. Ora made a good doctor, jail breaker, AND sword fighter?!! Chronix just stared at Theo who was nodding at him. "yep, Ora's a multi tasker." Chronix got up slowly, to make sure he didn't give way from being knocked out twice in a row. Jack had his head craned. "What's that noise?" Jack said. Indeed, there was a faint low pitched wailing sound from behind a distant mountainside. "That? Oh, it's just a spider tank. Nothing to worry about." Theo said with distaste. He had never cared for spider tanks, he liked the Vulture planes better, because they were easier to handle.

Jack looked a bit worried by the mention of a Spider Tank. But he quickly thought it was headed elsewhere. That is, until it got closer. Theo looked behind him and saw the massive spider tank right over their heads, making a loud metallic low pitched wailing sound as it moved. "D*MN IT! It's headed for the town!" Theo shouted over the loud noise. Chronix got up and ran for the town, while Jack and Theo tried to fend off the tank. Theo thought he had seen the last of these destroyed, but apparently he hadn't, because there was one left still. Jack threw as many spells as he could think of at the tank, but every fireball and ice bullet and Arcane Rocket he threw at it just bounced off in different directions. Jack wished Xendane(OOC: (Don't forget, not me!)) had stayed around longer. Theo stabbed his sword into the ground, and Jack watched in amazement as the ground cracked and a giant copper tree sprung out of the ground, stabbing the tank right in the underside, where it was weakest. A hole popped open, but the tank kept going.

Ora and the other Angelmen got up. Ora looked around and saw half of his Angelmen had been trampled and killed underneath the spider tank, leaving him with only three Angelmen left, including Sin. Ora looked at Jack, who was scaling the wall. Jack wished he had managed to fix that cannon gun. Getting up on the wall, Jack aimed an Arcane SMART bomb at the tank's underside, and shot it. The SMART bomb went up into the tank, and Jack could see the massive explosion appear. The legs of the Tank were ll that were left, but they crumbled to ashes. Lucky for Jack, he hadn't scathed the city. Much. A few charred rooftops, that's about it. Ora looked at Jack and his eyes widened slightly.

 

Few people had been awakend by the noise of the large smart bomb, since it was still so early in the morning. Nor were they awakend by anouther odd, yet barely noticible sound. For you see, from far, far away, an army was slowly approaching.

"And so, it shall all begin to unwind" a man said from atop the highest tower in town, as he sat atop it, cross legged. He was barely noticed either, for it was as if he blended in with the very darkness of the day.

 

OOC: (Oh teh noes! Not an ARMY!!! 0_0;; )

Jack looked around at the small mess he had made. Theo looked around when he heard a strange sound that sounded like feet marching. "Jack, looks like you've got some trouble." Jack looked behind him just in time to have an arrow fly through his chest. "G'uh!" Jack fell off the wall backwards and into the city. Getting up, Jack quickly ran outside.

 

ooc: lol, I don't think that an arrow can go that far from the army. WHen I said far far away, I meant like


Dam, the thing was bein stupid. So I editted.

Basicly, the army still has 15 minutes till they get to the kingdom

 

Diana sat up in bed. " Do you hear that?" She asked Panthera. " Yeah" He said. She got out of bed and ran out to the balcony. " What is that?"

 

OOC: (Oh. Well then... They have super far ranged crossbow cannons! :D)

 

ooc: actually, this army is built up of a lot of primatives, so they don't exsactly have cannons, lol. You see, this army is made up of a specific race. And that race is......

bic: "Guess I had better hurry to the princess before the lizardmen get here" the man muttered as he stood up on the tower, and from his back, out spread two giant black wings (note that for angels, there has not been one known angel to ever have had black wings), and he jumped into the air, as he flapped his wings, flying towards the castle.

 

OOC: (okay, well then they have a really good firing arm!)

 

ooc: fine. Well either way, I have to wait until kairigirl22 is able to post again, then the army can begin attacking

 

OOC: (Kay, I'll just have Theo, Chronix, Jack, Ora, Sero, and Sin getting ready then.)

Theo looked at the approaching army in the distance. Jack pulled the arrow out of his chest and coughed up a little bit of blood. Chronix didn't faint, but he felt a bit lighter for some reason. Chronix realized his arm was in pain. Looking down, Chronix realized there were strange green lines along his wrist that were making his hand glow. Chronix pulled out his sword, and realized his hand had turned white and was glowing with a green aura. Chronix felt something weird on his back and realized he had sprouted a wing(See profile for details). Chronic realized he was glowing with the green aura around him, then the aura grew into a green sort of energy shield armor. Theo had pulled out Cobalt and had gotten into a stance, Sin let his wings out to full span, Ora did the same, and the other two Angelmen got their weapons ready. Sero sighed. "Well, if I'm gonna' die, I might as well do it out of jail, eh?" Sero smiled warmly at his friends and pulled out his gun and smashed it into the ground. "No weapons for me this time." Sero said, getting into a fighting stance. Jack pulled out his spear and cast an odd spell that changed his outfit to a Dragoon Armor. Chronix sighed. That must be the Armor Summoning technique. Dragoons often used the technique to strengthen their armor, but Jack did it to come out of his hiding in an engineer outfit. Everybody braced themselves.

 

Diana looked out from the balcony and saw something flying towards her.

 

OOC: (Sorry if this part is a bit sad, this is what I like to call Foreshadowing.)

Jack looked around. there wasn't much support for them, it was them against a big army. Jack prayed that he would get through alive, or if not alive, at least get through it with victory. Chronix just barely heard Jack mumble solemnly "Mother... Father... I'm coming home soon." Chronix felt scared by this sudden comment. Was Jack implying that he wouldn't survive? Ora looked over at Sin and nodded. "Well, it was fun while it lasted." Theo looked at them, confused. Then, Sero said all to suddenly, "I guess it would be to late to write my will. Even if I do manage to survive. They won't let me off easy. I'll be taken in and killed by one of the tested death sentences. Well, at least I can say I should've done something better with my lousy life." Sero laughed harshly. Chronix and Theo looked at each other. They had not given up yet, nor were they about too.

OOC: (Like I said, sorry for the epic drama, this is a foreshadowing for some characters who don't believe they'll survive. They predicted their own demise.)
