The woman smiled at him and bowed slightly. Straightening up, she took out an envelope and gave it to him. "Master Lelouch told me to give it to you." On the envelope, in big fancy letters, it said:

"No need to bow, trust me its okay." James said smiling before taking the letter and looking at the two words on the envelope. He started to open the envelope.

"S-Sorry. I'm just used to it." The woman smiled.

Dear James,

This letter is to inform you about an event. The finding of the Black Rose.
I am gathering up everyone in my study at my manor so I may talk to them all. I did not choose you, a letter from William Snowe arrived and had your name on as a Chosen one, along with me, Alex, you and afew others. Gumi, the lady probably standing right in front of you now shall escort you back to my manor.

"No problem," James assured her before finally getting the envelope open and started to read the letter. After he had finished, he looked towards the woman "Gumi is your name then? Wonderful. Of course I'll come with you to the manor." He replied excitedly, anything to learn about the black rose would be one step forward to protecting it.

 

Gumi smiled. "Thank you. Master Lelouch will be happy to see you there." She held out her gloved hand to him. "Shall we?" She asked calmly, scanning him up and down. James Riddle. 12.25.20.3.12

 

Flynn opened the door and walked in. "Hello?" he asked, then saw the two in the room. He smiled and lowered his hood. "Hello. I'm Flynn Everett, and I believed I was summoned?" He held out his letter and looked to the two.

 

"Of course." James grinned and took hold of her hand. He soon started to walk out of his room. All he could think about was the secrets of the Black Rose would soon be revealed to him. After all he couldn't protect something if he had no idea what it was.

 

Lelouch smiled at Flynn. "Welcome. And you, you were summonded. For a good reason too. We just need James now." He blinked and the marking on his right eye left. Gumi's voice echoed in his head. On my way Master Lelouch! Lelouch nodded.

Gumi smiled at James. "No need to walk." She said, gripping his hand tighter. Running down the corridor, she sent a message to Lelouch and then ran outside. "Hold on!" She shouted jumping up and taking flight, carrying James with her.

 

James was taken out of his thoughts by the feeling that he was off the ground. "Huh? Wait...We're in the air?" He looked down and saw the streets below him, holding him was a flying Gumi. He managed not to scream at the top of his lungs and didn't look down for the fear that Gumi may let go of him and he would fall to his death.

 

Gumi giggled, looking at him. "Faster then a horse drawn carriage." She smiled. "As you might have guessed, i'm not human. I'm a demon that made a pact with Lelouch for everlasting life if I was his servant!"

Bio: She’s been Lelouch’s loyal servant ever since he was 7, after his parents died. The pact Lelouch made with was with her. She granted him help for the rest of his life to make hers longer. Taking the deal, she has the same symbol on her hand and can see the same that Lelouch does anyway. She doesn’t look it but she’s extremely acrobatic and is strong.
Personality: Quiet but does most of the talking for Lelouch, like she knows what he wants to say.
Weapon: Small knifes that she summons at will.
Other: On her right hand is the same marking on Lelouch’s right eye and can fly using her powers.

 

Flynn's smile widened, and he sat in a chair. "All right. I can wait." He pulled up his hood and closed his eyes, getting lost in his thoughts. Hmm...this is looking to being an adventure. What fun...

 

Lelouch looked at him. "Before saying anything about this, why do you keep up your hood?" He asked, putting back on his eyepatch.

 

"Hmm?" Flynn took off his hood and shook his head, then smiled at Lelouch. "Oh, my hood," he said with a laugh, then looked at him seriously, a hint of a smirk on his face. "One, it's extraordinarily comfortable. Two, it allows me solitude to think. And three, for protection. I don't look like anyone in this area, and I do hate to arouse to suspicions..."

 

Lelouch shrugged. "Good idea really. I do the same to hide my eye, only just using an eyepatch."

 

Flynn smiled and leaned forward. "Well, if I can show my face to you, you should be able to show your eye to me," he said.

 

"You must have seen it as you walked in. You do know, looking at how long people have left to live isn't such a nice thing." Lelouch said casually.

 

"Hmm...I wouldn't think it would be. Tell me, was it a demon pact?" he asked curiously.

 

Lelouch nodded. "Yes indeed. Gumi, my loyal servant was a demon on the verge of death. I made a pact with her feeling sorry and she stays alive for aslong as I do. Counting on demon years too, thats a LONG time. But in return, she became my loyal servant."
