Nevaeh closed the book and stood up, looking for the others. She had slipped away, sensing distractions and knew that she couldn't have any while she concentrated. This'll be difficult...

 

aelita saw a group of monsters and started attacking them

yumi helped out by getting some fan blades out with extra sharp razors that have boomerang action to so they come back at her

 

Nevaeh saw the two girls and ran over. She outstretched a hand and sent a barrage of ice crystals at the monsters, "need some help?".
