The distant days spent in that beautiful paradise are an illusion to me now.

How long have I been here, banished to the realm of nothingness?

It is only by relying upon my and hatred that I have been able to retain my sense of self here, where all existence is nullified.

My heart is being overcome with hatred toward my apprentices, possessed by the darkness, and with my anger I feel for stupidly allowing myself to be betrayed.

Is this darkness, eating away at my heart?

I cannot continue to idle away my time here.

What are Xehanort and the others attempting to do?

I must unravel the mystery of these Ansem Reports, intercept my apprentices, and defeat them.

This is my mission...the only way to repay the world for my sins.

Those beings who lack hearts--the Heartless--must be the key.

The darkness of the heart, made flesh. Cursed shadows who not only lack hearts, but multiply by seizing hearts from any and all living things.

Where have they come from, and where are they going?

When the soul leaves the body, its vessel, life gives away to death, but what about when the heart leaves?

A being does not perish when it heart leaves its body. The heart alone disappears into the darkness.

If I remain in this realm much longer, I will certainly learn these answers the hard way.

Naminé is a Nobody, created when a young girl's heart left her body.

Yet she has no corresponding Heartless.

This is because the "young girl" in this case was a princess.

Kairi, a resident of Radiant Garden over which I had ruled, was one of the Seven Princess that uphold the realm of light.

Soul-less?

Yeah, Ansem explains that when the heart becomes filled with darkness, it leaves the body to become a heartless and the body and soul can become a nobody or simply fade away. When the body is destroyed, he further explains, the soul and heart leave the body to whatever afterlife the denizens of the Kingdom Hearts Universe believe in, and the body obviously stays behind and becomes a corpse. But what happens when the soul becomes corrupted? Can the body and heart still live on? Is this perhaps what happened to Xehanort, and why he needed to be nursed back to health by DiZ and lost his memory?

 

A heartless is created from the darkness of the heart
A nobody is created when a strong hearted person becomes a heartless and it's body and soul do not fade away
A "body" is created when all the elements: heart, body and soul are together
but what happens to a person that has a body and a heart, but doesn't have a soul?

 

If you didn't have a soul I really doubt that you would be alive. Good theory though.

And yeah, for those of you who don't think you could live without a soul, ever hear of someone selling their soul to the devil? That would qualify by my standards to be living without a soul, for a while.

 

To tell you the truth, no, it wasn't what you just said, because you said "what would happen to a corrupt soul" the soul would be corrupted, but it would still be there, like riku in KH1. He still had a soul, but it became corrupted when he immersed himself in the darkness. I'm telling about a person without a soul that even didn't have a corrupted part of a soul

No, no probelm. But that's what I meant with my idea. The soul becomes corrupted and therefore be destroyed. And Riku's heart became corrupted, not his soul. No one's even mentioned the soul in the game yet.

 

I didn't read everything but this came to my mind:

Heart= Heartless
Body= Nobody
Soul= What's leftover.

So, maybe as Sora was brought back from the realm of darkness as himself, so was Xehanort.

I Said That It Is The Body And Soul To Make A Nobody

 

Okay, so you turn into a Heartless. Your heart is reborn as a Heartless. Your body is left behind; a Nobody. However, your soul, or maybe your mind, is in the realm of darkness. Like, when Sora stabbed himself to release his heart. Afterwards, Kairi's heart was let out, and Sora was in the realm of darkness. That was his mind or soul or whatever you wanna refer to it as.

Kairi's light or whatever guided him out. His present from as a heartless reverted to himself. Roxas was... somewhere else? D:

When your soul leaves, you die. When your heart leaves for any reason, yeah, the hear is reborn and your body's the nobody.

In Xehanort's case, his heart was reborn as 'Ansem', his body leftover was made into Xemnas, and his soul, in the realm of darkness, is what's to think about for KH3. I heard there's more info coming mid 2007 from a friend, so, yeah >_>;.

All skepticism aside, I definitely think you're all on to something here. The logic is a little bumpy but "soul-chasers"...it sounds very possible :D. As for the rest I guess we'll have to wait for more info to come out :/

 

Yeah, if you think outside the box a little bit, maybe the mind from the realm of darkness is reborn also. As a chaser? Maybe.

Heart:Heartless(IF it is your heart why do they call it heartLESS)
Body+Soul:Nobody

It might be About what happens to the hearts after heartless.
