It's a version of Teen Titans that they turned into a children's show, like ages 5 - 8 type children's show on Cartoon Network. It's an abomination. Don't watch it. If you were ever a TT fan, it will ruin you.

It is not a version of Teen Titans turned into a kids show, it's a kids show using the familiar faces and voices of Teen Titans, playing the extreme characterizations from the original show up for laughs. It it not an abomination, it is a relatively funny show enjoyable to varying degrees. I'm a TT fan, and it did not ruin me at all. People need to get off their ****ing high horse and not condemn the show for not being what they expected/wanted. Do you you say Regular Show is bad for not being more like an action show, or even more like AT which is by all accounts a smarter and better show? No, you enjoy it for the insane comedy. It's not trying to be smart, it's trying to be 10 minutes of nonsensical fun. That's what TTG is.

 

The only one here who needs to get off their high horse is you. Just because you liked it, doesn't give you the right to criticise someone for not liking it.

 

I dont care if people like it, I dont even care if people think its good. If you can make a case for why the show is bad, thats fine, I dont need to convince you that its not terrible. In fact, Nova has. But if the only reason you can give for why the show is bad is because its NOT what you expected or wanted, then yeah, I have a problem with that. And this is coming from a big comicbook/show/movie fan with Teen Titans being one of my favorite properties period. Take the show on its own terms.

 

I was simply expressing an opinion, one we are all entitled too and you're holding no ground using Regular Show and Adventure Time [[ I'm assuming that's what AT stands for ]] as a comparison. I find both shows to be ridiculously stupid and a waste of television air time. If you like TTG, then by all means, like TTG. But now you're condemning me for not liking it and saying things like getting off my high horse. I can assure you, I have no high horse to sit on. I don't look down on people for liking something that I don't like. My life has left no room for that. Which is also why I called out HoT before for acting like he was better than everyone else by saying we were embarrassing him for our arguing.

My dislike for the show is not just because 'it isn't what it once was.' We get a grand total of 5 TV channels at my house and one of them is Qubo. I don't know if you've ever heard of Qubo, but it's a children's programming show. Children's cartoons all day and night. We watch a fair amount of children's cartoons because there isn't much else on. While Qubo does have some slightly older programming in the evening like He - Man, Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego?, Sherlock Holmes in the 22nd Century, and Class of Titans; it's moreover just childish cartoons meant for small children and that's what TTG reminds me of and I can't stand it. As for Regular Show and Adventure Time, they are stupid humor and I can't stand stupid humor in the least bit.

 

Just let it go. Let people hate on it if they want to, you still don't need to rain on their parade.

From what I've seen, they're allowed everywhere but KHV.

 

I loved the original show.
I loved the pre-New 52 comics.
I loved most iterations of the characters on TV (Young Justice<3), except for maybe Conner on Smallville (liked the idea, not the portrayal).
I loved how the New 52 showed most of the characters, though not necessarily how some of them were written (I hate you, Scott Lobdell, for what you did to my Tim).

Do I love TTG? Not really. I won't go out of my way to watch it, but if I catch an episode, they are enjoyable. Like skull joke (who I think is below, but not sure. I'm done keeping up with name changes) said, it's taken their personalities from the original show and taking them to the extreme for a fun show. It's not meant to be serious. It's like...Robot Chicken, but solely Teen Titans-based. I don't understand the hate on the show itself (I mean, a good portion of the original show's episodes could easily pass as TTG episodes. Beast Boy vs. Evil Alien Tofu), but I do understand the hate on the decision to continue the show through TTG instead of a different manner. Still, it's a nice little fun show to catch an episode every now and then.
