THQ Will be Dead Within Six Months, Says Take-Two

It's sad to see a video game company go.
After seeing most of their subsidiaries go defunct, even with the regret Zelnick has said, I do see them going down pretty soon. It's a shame, really. I'm really looking forward for a couple of their releases this year. I hope they survive for longer than six months. Just survive, really.

 

That's probably why they had that huge Amazon sale.

 

Personally I felt THQ had been making bad decisions for years concerning what games they are endorsing, they've only had the occasional good one coming forth but not much more even though they sank tons of money into them with little return.

It's all the licenses into established brands to make games out of them, like Spongebob and the stuff, which leads to nothing but substandard games and mediocre returns financially. They've closed many branches over the years, lost people jobs, not endorsed decent brands, I just knew this was Colin for ages it's a shame it's likely to end in a whimper as this

 

Its sad to hear them go but I really have not bought a game in some time.

 

It's a shame, but its not all that surprising.

I really liked Homefront and kinda hoped for a sequel. :/ Hopefully crytek will continue to make it and get picked up by another publisher.

 

EA will end up producing it.
