Often when I just sit in my room and think about stuff, I write it down. Here are two of them, they are somewhat stream of consciousness mixed with thoughts. Just wanted to share them. Memories The past is not be present. Though be sure not to forget the past because what has been, has been. What happened, happened. Don't forget it, keep it in your heart and mind. If you long for the past; dream, hope and wish for it. Remember however, this is the present, the past is gone and it will never be restored. But whatever you do with your past, don't put it away and forget it. Store it, salvage it. For in the end, what but memories, does your life consist of? Music Making songs is not just all sunshine and happiness. By making music you can let out hate, anger, joy and sadness, whatever feeling it might be. I must admit that there have been, and still are times when I sit and play guitar just going with the flow that both laugh and cry, so I encourage you to learn an instrument. Actually you don't even have to do so, but try writing a song that means something to you. Because to me, music is life. Nothing has ever made me question what music means to me, and I will never, never abandon something that can bring me such joy and sadness at the same time
wow thats deep. ive had a thought kinda like that, but its more theoretical and has to do with color. what if people percieve color differently? what would happen if what one person percieved as blue, another person thought was red. they wouldnt know because they would have been taught that the color they percieved as red was blue. for example, if this person looked up at the sky, they would see a red sky. but they wouldnt know its red because everyone knows that the sky is blue. does this make sense?
It does. Everything in the world has to do with perception. It's actually true that every person sees colors differently, though usually not to that extent. It's the same thing with right and wrong basically. What one person might think of as right, another one sees it as wrong, because that's how he/she was "taught"
Perception is a very confusing thing.....like when I think something is red,others could be seeing yellow,or blue. And about music......to me,music is life. Without it,I honestly dont think I could live.
