i thought this was from a new episode or something. your post was very misleading.

 

Pretty sure he was with Professor Ivy for the entirety of season 2.
Hence the reason why he was replaced with Tracey

 

that's what I'm thinking. it's the only movie so far that's had this sort of feel to it, if that makes any sense

There were actually two instances where his birthday was shown. He's at least 12.

Finally he get's a girl..... As for Ash's age, me and some friends worked it out, he should be at least 16 but nooooooooooooooooooooooooooo Japanese sub of the first B&W episode said he was still ten.

 

Again, he's had two birthdays in the series. Those subbers must have been doing some shoddy work.
