Kingdom Hearts II Those pods in Data Twilight Town

In KH2, there are 6-7 other pods besides the pods that Donald and Goofy are sleeping in. Anyone have any guesses as to what their purpose may have been?

 

i think is was for the others that followed Sora

 

maybe they weren't used ?

 

Do I remember right or was it when you examined one of the pods it said something about it`s broken?
I think they just weren`t used.

 

I think one of those pods contained Walt Disney once...I might be wrong though.

Either the ones who needed their memories repaired, or they were broken, and never used. *shrug*

I believe they were just unused pods, except for the one that had malfunctioned. There may be some significance to them. It does seem interesting that some were used and there are spare ones just laying around.

 

actually in one the new scenes in FM+, Xigbar mentioned that Xemnas has been seeking the "Room of Awakening". maybe he found it and used it?

Maybe they wanted to safe keep it so they can sell it on Ebay with good condition...*tells Roxas to bash em up like the computer*

 

it usually said something like
"looks like this one hasnt been used in a while"

 

I actually had a whole theory based around them.

 

Obviously they were spare chairs or holders for laundry...Namine just has so many sets of clothing. c_c

Most likely they were merely "background place holders" as well as "evidence of spares". It would seem odder if there were only the three they had there.

 

lolz... i personally think they were there to turn the org INTO the org before they WERE the org...you get what im sayin? i think they were used to create them(xigbar to marluxia) cause they are different to the other nobodies...

 

What happened to it?

My theory is that the other pods MAY have been used for one of the BBS characters. This is probably false I think, but you never know, maybe I'm just trying to fit them in somehow *confused*

 

Yeah, I noticed too. So it seems it has been used, maybe they'll explain it in the future games? (358/2 Days?)

 

Ya I agree, they probably where there just to have something in the background. They maybe involved again in the new games? I guess we just have wait to see if there is a story about them.
