Witches got replaced with demons. Killing demons helps with universal entropy. They also drop things that look like grief seeds that apparently purify soul gems. For the magical girls who don't purify their soul gems, Madoka visits them and destroys their soul gems.

Not to mention she also allowed Homura to escape the cycle of pain she was essentially trapped in.

All that he has to do is find someone to counteract Madoka's wish. It should not be that hard.​

 

No. She made her wish to prevent any more Magical Girls from becoming witches, which is a far worse fate for them than dying. This way, they don't become witches and spread grief and suffering through the human race themselves.

Her wish took her out of space and time as we know it. The only person who remembers Madoka even existed is Homura. According to Kyubei, she essentially became a goddess. Plus, no one would be powerful enough to counteract it. Madoka was incredibly strong.

 

Nobody knows Madoka even made the wish, since she's become a concept.
Unless Homura decides to become the Church of Madoka's prophet and spread the countless services of our Holy Goddess throughout the land.
