But that could also be looked at as an undermining almost derogitory statement. have you ever watched NBC or CBS with the political analysers and etc. they will sometimes call each other animals when being angry. And also. Human Beings are "Homo Sapiens" but they aren't part of the animal kingdom. or else we would be the "king" of the jungle. But dont take into consideration Guns n Roses song welcome to the jungle because there they are ALSO comparing figuratively the sense of humans as animals. but they aren't actually saying we are them. so. I suppose in a "figurative sense" we are animals. but literally we aren't my good sir.
