It feels good to post in this site in a long time.

 

Every time I think you can't lower my opinion of you even more, you do.

 

That show there . . . That show right there was just horrible. It wasn't just the style that was bad though, there was no story plot whatsoever.

Adventure Time, on the other hand, has an excellent plot. Well, a few excellent plots. I personally like the style of animation, though if it were anime style it'd be pretty cool. The only thing about being anime style is a lot of the stuff in the show just couldn't be. I mean, Jake can make his arm/leg ten feet long. That'd be a little harder to do in anime style, not to mention the budget you'd need for animation.

Basically, you should judge a show just from animation alone. Who knows, if you tried watching the show it might interest you. It's not always constant randomness and stupidity, there are several major plot points contained within.

 

But like I said, generally you have to like what you're looking at if you're going to enjoy it.
You like looking at Adventure Time, the style and colours appeal to your senses.
For others it does not, and if you don't enjoy looking at a TV show then you it's a pretty valid reason not to watch it. Unlike things like story, or certain characters, or plot devices, you can't really ignore the looking aspect of an animation.



Also Family Guy stopped being good when every character became incredibly unlikeable and the show turned into Seth's soapbox

Futurama stopped being good when the main character from the 20th century started making jokes and references of things from the 21st century

South Park is still cool

Simpsons stopped being funny a LOOOOOOOOOOONG time ago

Bobs Burgers is god tier

 

So when they decided to bring the show back? Cause that's when most any Futurama fan will agree it should have just stayed dead, although I personally can still enjoy some of the newer episodes

But uh, yeah. Not too much a fan of the results.

 

Agreed. I was watching one of the newer episodes yesterday, and it felt like they were making so many references, but without actual punchlines, along with a clusterfuck plot that just seemed way too wacky and incoherent.

 

Now I would like to see Adventure Time in the animation style of Mind Game.
