I like the black and whiteness. ^^ *purrs* Makes it much more interesting and that no matter what happens, things will return to normal. Nice concept.
Love the idea, but it's just too plain boring in the left. I don't think adding effects or text would really be better though. I think this would look better as an avatar O:
