This is cool on the internet:
1. Making witty comments without resorting to flaming. Walking the line but not crossing it is very cool, almost artistic.
2. Having the courage to expose personal thoughts and feelings without sounding all whiny. Lowering your shield to allow another's opinion and honesty in is a respectable thing. I regrettably admit that I myself am too weak to do it.
3. Knowing that there is a time and place for everything. It's a vital part of wisdom, and it's not too hard to obtain unless you're a complete ******bag.

This is not cool on the internet:
1. Getting personal or threatening to do so: using another's personal information of every kind to pester him/her lies on the wrong side of the line I mentioned.
2. Trying to be witty up to the point of sounding like a pre-schooler and still failing.
3. Pulling up a Holier-Than-Thou persona and "calling it a day" and hoping that no one noticed that you have yet to apologize for your asinine behaviour. Thinking you can even be a better man when you don't admit your own part in the whole shitstorm.
4. Not caring about what others think of you. You're not a cool rebel, you're not James Dean or Matt Dillon, you're a teenager behind a PC who's unpopular on an internet forum.

 

I completely agree except this would be cooler if it wasnt about 24 hours late XD.
