Kingdom Hearts II This heartless trouble im having

Okay so heres the deal, in kh2 ansem, report 5, it is stated that by ansem the wize (or DIZ if you will) that his six traitor apprentaces are making "pureblood" and "synthetic" heartless.
The synthetic heartless are said to be marked by an insignia or "emblem".

Now correct me if im wrong but the only heartless that don't seem to have the emblem, are shadow and neoshadow heartless. Does this mean that these two are the only naturaly occuring heartless? and are all others basicly fakes or inventions?

The other thing is that the Kh1 boss xehanorts heartless also bears an emblem for a while (during the first in a long line of fights with him). So is he to a fake or has this already been cleard up?

So whats going on? put me out of my kh worry and misery!

The darkball heartless is also natural occurring.

 

Yep, the Shadow, Neoshadow, and Darkball are 'pureblood' heartless. Darkballs just don't appear in Kingdom Hearts II.

 

There's also the Invisible, Darkside, Shadow Stalker, Dark Thorn, Possesser, Thresholder, Nextshadow, Dark Follower, etc.

 

Ah, I just knew there were more. Just couldn't name them all :D

 

I just knew that the shadows, darkballs, and then the big one.... Name not known cause it never seemed important to me. PLus the guys with the swords. Who I believe are called invisibles...

Did anyone notice that those guys have the heart hole on their torso(s) too?

well time advances they probably made newer hearless and some of the pureblood got defeated or somethiing like that xP

About the whole pureblood topic. Do you remember The end of the world? At the world terminus in the weird room in hollow bastion that you cant normally get access to there is that weird...thing. i have heard it was the heartless making machine but i cant see any indication of it in the game.

And i also thought about why does peoples hearts turn into fake heartless? That guy in Traverse town, the queen of hearts, Clayton, and apparently Xehanhort, all of them turned into fake Heartlesses.

is there something i have misunderstood?

I think it might be that their hearts were just strong enough that they didn't become full-out heartless, but they still in a way lost their hearts.

I dunno. I'd have to go through it again to find out.

Niether. Xehanhort's heartless isn't really a heartless. Yes Mickey said he was, but he was either mistaken or was short on time and didn't have the chance to fully explain what he really was. Xehanhort is a walking heart. Just like Sora was in KH1 through the start of KH2. XH doesn't have many of the quailties of a heartless. He has a sense of himself, Memoires of his other and was unable to created his own body out of darkness like normal heartless. He also able to think something no Heartless can do. They use only insticnts.
Xehanhort's heartless himself knew he wasn't a heartless

It maybe said machine, or the machine in which Xehnahort and the rest of Ansem the Wise's students gave themselves to darkness (How many pods are on the side). Too bad we can only go there once.

I really can't say for sure it he did become that soldier heartless. That scene is rather confusing if you watch it again. There doesn't seem to be anything attacking him. He falls his heart floats to a dark portal and the heartless appears. That heartless maybe his his or the heartless that attacked him.

I think it also could be that if a heartless was intentionally created, it will have the insignia because it wasn't a natural occurence.

 

Sora intentionally turned himself into a heartless and became a shadow. Xehanhort did too and he remains solely a heart.

 

No it is not an accident. The Pure blood heartless are the orginals spawn from the darkness itself. The craveing for Hearts came from DIZ's experiments. In fact I realy think it will be an important plot point later in the story

 

If people want my opinion, but they probably don't, there is no real way to tell the difference between a pureblood and a synthetic heartless. But... pureblood heartless are made when a human or animal's heart is corrupted by the darkness. The synthetic heartless are made by a machine. And, though I'm not sure if people care, more powerful heartless are made when more darkness is in a heart that's been corrupted by darkness. So, since Sora had little darkness in his heart, he only became a shadow instead of like... an Invisible or a Darkball.

 

What Cardmaster said about Sora having a small amount of darkness in his heart made him turn into just a shadow heartless sounds like a reasonable idea

 

Not really, If he was a heartless he wouldn't have had to steal Riku's body. He would have had one out of Darkness like normal heartless.

I thought he said they retained their human forms.
