Kingdom Hearts II Things That Sora Forgot To Ask or Mention

Sora first met the Org.XIII in CO like marluxia,axel, larxene & vexen but didnt meet Lexaeus or Zexion.He also destroyed some members but because of his memories being restored he forgot it all. Now in KII he met them again in Hollow bastion but it wasnt all the members just what remained of them.One by one he destroyed them too but did sora ever think of what happen to the rest?He only met 8 & the group IS called XIII so Sora really never thought about the rest of the members right?

 

Okay but what about Jiminy, Donald and Goofy?

 

Well Sora wasn't the only peorson fighting the organisation, and being in that situation I don't think he really had time to stop and think about how many members he had distroyed...

 

I'm sure Sora figured Mickey and Riku defeated the others. Sora wasn't the only one fighting.

 

And I can't seem to recall anyone telling Sora specifically that there were thirteen members; yes, the name of the group is a bit of a giveaway, but hey, once again, Sora isn't the brightest bulb in the tanning bed.
If he took the time to consider that there were thirteen of them, that might bring in some confusion when Riku wore the Organization cloak, when Mickey did, who the 13th member was, etc.

 

It's just like everyone said, Sora surely isn't the brightest hero in the world, besides, his main focus was finding Riku and the King throughout the game and Sora fought Xenmas and the remaining members out of protecting the worlds, he can't hold a grudge for long.

Besides, I would think you'd wonder why you slept in a capsule for a year when the last thing you remember is coming to Castle Oblivion's front door and the obivous giveaway is his clothes didn't fit him.

Let's not forget Sora not asking Namine what she meant, either his promise at Castle Oblivion or to Roxas at Twilight Town but this little bit was fixed in KHII FM+ before Armoured Xenmas 2 with Riku as he thanks Namine, realizing who she was as Namine said the links are only disconnected in hs heart were forgotten but he rememberd as Ansem said, Sora could touch the hearts of anyone he met and open different unknown doors.

 

I think he didn't ask because his Heart already knew. Namine explained that the memories are still there, it'll just be harder for him to access them. So his Heart remembered, and since he was probably following it and not his brain, he never thought to ask. In addition, Sora didn't truly have a body for most of KH2, since Kairi only restored it from the Light of her Heart, so it's possible that he only had his Heart and Mind to go on.

 

Wait, what? When is this ever stated?

 

He lost his body and heart when he became a heartless in KH1. Kairi restored his body back, but it wasn't truly his body until Kairi restored his light again at the end of KH2. I mean haven't you always wondered how he was able to jump a flying sky scraper?

 

I'm not sure about what TGA said, but yeah, Sora was pretty much just a walking heart after KH1. Roxas had his body. Until Roxas fully merged with him, he was...incomplete.

 

Yeah. He was basically a Heartless but engulfed in Light instead of Darkness.

 

Uh, guys, Sora may not be the smartest kid, but he could probably tell that they were dead from all the broken "doors" (or whatever they are) at Proof of Existence.

EDIT: VV You've got a point, his heart "remembering" it might also make sense.

 

I'm still going with my theory that his Heart remembered. Besides, if he had been wondering, then he probably would have mentioned something about it when they got there.

 

Here is the big question. He can talk to roxas right? If sora actually was the brightest crayon in the box, couldn't he ask him about the OXIII ?

 

Because Sora didn't spend a huge amount of time as a Heartless and the thought of having a Nobody didn't pop in his mind, even though Yen Sid explained about Nobodies.

Of he course he could of written off his time as a Heartless something he did to save Kairi.

 

Actually it might be assumed that Sora did remember the events of Chain of Memories. After his inner fight with Roxas, the data of defeated members of Organization from the game appear in the Journal. While no concrete evidence is never given its strange to include them considering they have importance to the plot afterward. Now if this addition to the journal is canon that would mean Sora and Co. regained their forgotten memories. There is a scene in KH2 Final mix in which Sora says to Riku, before they fight Xemnas, "I forgot to Thank Namine." It's possible that when him and Roxas fused and fought all his past memories were regained. He fully remembered who Namine was and what she did.

 

Oh I remember that final mix scene, so sora DOES remember everything at the end of khII.

 

Sora actually forgot he turned into a heartless. There is a scene after he defeats Saix. Riku tells Sora that Roxas is his nobody. Sora as first says he never turned into a heartless, but then he remembers. So before that point Sora didn't know about Roxas and their connection so it wouldn't occur to Sora to try to talk to Roxas. And by that time much of the organization has been defeated.
