Hey there. Name's Leif, and... well, I'm obviously new here. I was referred here by a friend of mine, he said that some of my other friends were on here.

If anybody sees a Xendane or R3c0Nzi13, or maybe a Ninja Riyu, drop them a line and tell them I'm here, I have a funny feeling Jason's going to be the first to respond, since we're close friends. And when I say close, I mean CLOSE.

Here's why: (WARNING! This may be a little more info than necessary)

When I was still living with my family, I was the punching bag. Everybody beat the living cr*p out of me, even my brother, although he hated having to do so. My dad was a drunkard who thought of me as a worthless little b*tch, my mom was a drug addict who would knock my *ss senseless if she didn't get her fix, my sister was just a stuck up b*tch, and my brother was forced to beat me up so that he wouldn't get hurt for being soft on me. In other words, it wasn't fun.

I would enter my class with huge welts and bruises, often times bleeding. This was before I met Jason.

Jason went through much of the same pain I did, but his started from the day he turned 5 years old. His father, mother, and younger siblings were all killed in a massive car crash in Russia, leaving him and his older sister orphaned. An "Old Family Friend" from America was "Kind" enough to "Take Jason In" and they made sure his life was terrible for a good two years. Then, he met the Tale family, who were another set of family friends. When he and his step brother, Jeremy Tale, met me in first grade, the first question Jason ever asked me when we were friends was:

"Who do I need to beat the cr*p out of for hurting you?"

Jason would often times come over to my house to hang out, and he got to experience the full extent of my own personal torture, and when he had finally seen enough, he gave me the best piece of advice I'd ever heard from my friends:

"If they give you too much hassle, don't hesitate to come stay with me. I'll make sure they don't take one step towards you."

So, yeah, I did. And since then, me and Jason have been very, very, very, VERY close friends. Jason even went as far as to accept me as a "replacement brother", so TECHNICALLY, I'm a Haley now. But, I keep my own last name because my brother's still a Markus, and I want to keep my ties with at least HIM.

Like I said, more than necessary information, but I felt the need to say it.

That's all I'm willing to say, so... Yeah.

I DID say that it would probably be MORE than necessary...

(And how did I guess you'd be the first to find this?)

Could be better, could be worse. Right now, I'm exploring while typing on my laptop. It's hard to walk and type at the same time. So I put the thing in a harness so that it wouldn't be a problem.

People are looking at me weird...

Thanks, guys. I'll make sure to take your advice.

As for anybody asking why my family would be such *ssholes, or commenting on how bad my life was, here's the responses:

    1. Human nature is made in such a way that while some people are nice and considerate, others want nothing more than dominance.

    2. Jason and I are two of a group of people who have all had rough starts but are now having a rather good time. Except for Parora, he hasn't really HAD a bad life, he just comes from a family made up entirely of people who were/are/are going to be in the armed services.

    "Bad enough," he says.

Psh, Parora's DAD had a bad life, how would you like to have to suffer in a prison camp during WW2?

That seems really harsh. I don't think anyone in the modern gerneration could actually handle something like that.

Actually, Parora's taking it quite well. His dad's recovered quite nicely since then. The only real issue is his left eye being all blank and scarred. I can't remember if he was found, or if he maybe escaped before any real harm could set in. I can't remember, I'll have to ask him again. But yeah, Jason has a point, Parora's got no real problems, he just says "I have to hang out with military personnel all day long, and I get tired of having to stand at attention when my brother Byron enters the room. Isn't that bad?"

Yeah, sure, I may be right, but I didn't want it to come off as a mean statement. I should've worded that better...

Oh, I see what you mean now. Sorry, I thought it was a lot worse than that.

I think what Jason meant to word it as was, "Parora's taking things a bit over the top with the 'I have a bad life' thing. He has a supportive family of military folks, and sure he gets annoyed with them once in a while, but that's not necessarily bad."

Yeah. And, because I really don't want anybody on my case about spamming, let's drop the subject.
