Bella smiled but it quickly turned into a smirk, "Sorry for butting in, but would you mind explaining? I want to be sure you're not saying it just because of Bell..."

 

Back so soon? I was just getting to that part. Exel smiled. I think that if done against one's will, then it is an unfair treatment against human laws. If done upon one person who resists, who knows? Maybe terror, pain, then murder and deaths. Example would be almost like you Ella. You tried to kill me when Bella is in pain and suffered from her past. Am I right?

 

"Close, but not really" Ella smirked, "At the beginning of all of this, Bella was a weak child, a cub born before her time. They managed to restore her to full health, but her parents had discarded her since they didn't want a weakling in their pack. They gave her to the doctors who in turn handed her to scientists who experimented on her, wanting to make her along with the rest, stronger and better. Those despicable scientists used her in so many, horrendous ways and she didn't like it at all. Not one bit, she loathed it. She wanted to fight but didn't have the strength or courage. I did, so I came out, and have stayed until like I said before, she met you. I only come out when she's soft and weak. Or if she has a desire to fight..."

 

I was close enough. Exel smiled ans shrugged. Is there a reason to kill me?

 

"She doesn't want to hurt you. She loves you and that's causing Bella to block me. That ungrateful wench doesn't want me anymore because she knows what I've done with these hands and she doesn't want your blood on us!" Ella scoffed, "Like she has any say. That girl is weak! She can't block me, and when I kill you, she'll disappear completely!" Despite Ella's hatred and threats, she didn't seem to be moving or even trying to move.

 

Exel tilted his head. Is that why you can't move?

 

Ella snarled, "No! Its just... I feel like messing up your relationship with her first. Yeah, after all, I'd rather break the both of you apart and then kill you" Ella chuckled, "Yeah, good plan.."

 

If you can..... Exel looked at Ella.

 

"Just watch me" Ella smiled, "But I'm not as weak as I used to be so I doubt she can" Bella smiled at Exel, before dropping to her knees, a trickle of blood on the side of her mouth, "See? I would've fainted before.."

 

Exel nodded and went over to Bella and wipe the blood with his handkerchief.

 

"Thanks. I'm sorry, its a mental and physical battle at times. I just can't believe I've been able to keep her at bay" Bella muttered, leaning on Exel, "Maybe we should go back to the others, I need some food... From the fridge I mean" She chuckled softly.

 

Exel chuckled along with Bella and then picked her up into his arms and carried her.

 

"I feel drowsy... They never let me sleep for long when I was little, saying it was too dangerous" Bella muttered, rambling on from exhaustion, "I really like it when you hug me... I think you're the first person that has... I don't know..."

 

You can sleep now. Exel said as he held her close to him. Maybe first to protect you?

 

"I think so yeah... I was always on my own really and Ella was always trying to get rid of me. She wanted to take over and nearly did if I didn't hide where she couldn't get me. And then... then you tried to pet me" Bella smiled as she started falling asleep, "I really lo..." With a small sigh, she fell asleep.

 

Exel smiled remembering that time. Rest up now. I'll protect you. He whispered.

 

Bella smiled in her sleep and relaxed in Exel's arms. She was usually tense and alert in her sleep, often with a strained exression but she was calm now, trusting Exel to keep her safe.

 

Exel smiled and then sat down with her still in his arms not wanting to wake her up.

BIC: Bella continued to sleep peacefully.

 

"Um.. I'm not sure when that one wears off, or if it wears off at all. Thats why I tried to warn Sora not to drink it..."VEL said nervously. Sora woke up, looking around for something.
