Mage obediently followed Kiarai, not wanting to do anything rash.

 

Kiarai approached where they kept Ashir. "There, now behave you two."she said in a sing-song voice.

 

Mage sat by Ashir, cuddling him and singing him a lullaby so he could sleep more peacefully.

 

"What pitiful emotions of the heart..."Kiarai rolled her eyes.

 

Mage didn't react to the comment, but mentally sighed. "So selfish..." she mumbled.

 

"Well let's get going already. Who knows what they're doing right now," Riku snapped, anxious to go.

Bella sighed, "Looks like we're on babysitting duty.."

 

"Alright."VEL held out her hand, opening a small portal shining with a white light. "alright, lets get going."Sora went through the portal first.

Once Sora headed through the portal he noticed that it was raining in the world that never was. "Perfect, the moment we get here its raining."He sighed, not minding the fact he was gettign rained on.

 

Mage was silently looking down at Ashir, sighing. "So selfish, yet with emotions... so strange..." she mumbled more.

 

"Hmph, when I get a heart I'll make sure to toss away such a worthless emotion such as love..."Kiarai said. "Don't say that. Look at Wolf and Kareno. They can't love, but they can try."Xidanne said. Kiarai just rolled her eyes.

 

"..." Mage looked up at Kiarai, sighing. "This is my son, I created him, so in turn I must love him."

 

"Whatever..."Kiarai sighed. Xidanne gave a small groan, wondering why Xikari wanted her to keep gaurd with Kiarai.

 

Mage stood up, going to the wall of her cage. "May I speak to Xikari?"

 

"Sorry, she's dealing with more...important matters. Any moment from now you're heroes will be here, and Xikari will eliminate every one of them and unleash Darkena..."Kiarai laughed.

 

"..." Mage sighed and weaved her finger around. "May I interest you... in an alternative to Darkena?"

 

"Like what?"Kiarai asked. Xidanne whimpered.

 

Mage thought it over a bit. "If I give you my alternative... will you let us go?"

 

"If is to Lady Xikaris liking if not...you're chances of living are pretty slim.."Kiarai said. "Of course, Lady Xikari is busy...right?"Xidanne coughed.

 

"... I have but few alternatives..." Mage replied bitterly. "If Xikari likes any of them, can we go?"
