"Sure, can't really take it off though."Sora said, letting EAM see his necklace.

 

EAM turned the necklace to allow it to stay on the heartless mark. "Now keep it on there for a bit, I want to see what happens."

 

Sora winced, his eyes turning a golden color. "My heart hurts...."he whimpered.

 

EAM was firm in her voice. "Just a little longer, just to test it." her eyes turned golden as well.

 

Sora whimpered, eyes shut tight. "It hurts..."He said, clutching his chest.

EAM was wincing too, feeling the same pain. "I just need to see what will happen..."
Ashir was trying to stop EAM, but she made him stop.

 

Finnaly, Sora couldn't take it anymore. He flipped the pendant back to the side with the blue heart, sighing in relief.

 

EAM gave a mental sigh of relief, but pouted. "Sorry..."
"Mom, please don't do that..." Ashir sighed in relief.

 

'Hey, are you okay kid?' "Huh?"Sora looked around at the voice, looking at the pendant. 'I hope my...acquatance didn't hurt you too bad...' "Um...I'm hearing voices..."Sora said.

 

EAM winced slightly. "I can hear them too, y'know." 'Who are you, and who is this 'friend' of yours?'

 

'He's not my friend, he's more of an aquaitance. He's the reason you 2 were in pain. Sora, its nice to hear your voice again after 14 years or so.' "Uh...You know my name?"Sora asked. 'Of course you don't remember me, you were 5... My name is Ventus, you can call me Ven. I'm resting in your heart, but you can hear me because of the pendant.'

'I understand. I just want to make sure what was going on. Glad to meet you, I'm his... newest shadow, you may call me Mage.' EAM, or now my more preferred name, Mage, mentally spoke.

 

'Its nice to meet you.'Ven said. "Okay, I have a voice in my head...yep, tottaly not weird at all."Sora said.

 

"Oh it's not so bad, just try not speaking to them with public around, it's very awkward." Mage turned her gaze to Ashir, whom was confused with her.

 

"Them? Wait, who's the other one you were talking about?"Sora asked. 'Vanitas, you can't really hear him unless you have the pendant on the side with the heartless symbol. and even then he's too busy trying to get out.'Ven explained.

 

'I'd rather not speak with him, thank you.' "Let's head on." Mage hushed Ashir and started to move on.

 

Sora followed, keeping a look out for any dark nobodies.

 

Mage watched even the shadows as well, listening to them. Ashir stayed quiet.

 

"Hmmm...."Sora gasped as he saw Kareno and Wolf up ahead. "Kareno, I'm tired. Can we head back to HQ?"Wolf asked, yawning a bit. "Sure. We can continue our search tommorow."Kareno said, taking Wolfs hand. Wolf turned a light red as Kareno kissed him on the cheek. Sora watched, whispering a small 'awwwww, how cute...'

 

Mage lightly punched Sora. 'It's not cute, it's our enemy!' she hissed quietly.
