Sora stayed with Destiny, starting to feel lonely as he walked past the many couples. "Mommy..."Destiny was starting to be concerned. "I'm fine Desty..."Sora faked a smile. His sapphire eyes were starting to fade from the empty emotion in his heart...

VEL was playing the woutes she had learned in her head. "'In this monochrome world, I will search the depths of the earth and the limitless skies for you...'...Waaaah! That line is still sooo sweeet!...and ironic... Riku means Land, and Sora means Sky..."

 

"... Control your Fate, Live Your Life." EAM murmured, rubbing Ashir's head. "Where's Merlin and Aerith when you need them?"

Parma noticed Sora and Destiny, and perched atop Sora's head.

 

"I dunno..."VEL said. "Um, excuse me..."Aerith came in and noticed Ashir. "um, can I help you?"she asked. "Its Ashir. He's really sick."VEL said.

Sora noticed Parma. "I thought I told you to stay with Riku..."he said.

 

Parma appeared to be chuckling, but shook her head. 'I let Known watch them... but I have been informed that Riku and Hikari are here somewhere. EAM wishes me to gather everyone."

"Ah! Yes! Ashir, my son, he's very sick and close to dying! He was traumatized last night by his Dad, Karl, and it screwed up the memories and energy that was his that I used to make Ashir, and it's affecting him REALLY badly! Please Aerith you have to help me!" EAM begged, nearing tears.

 

Hey people. I'm just wondering...what is this all about?

 

Aerith nodded and went over to Ashir, using some healing magic to try and heal Ashir for whatever was affecting him.

"Okay... Go ahead and find Riku. We'll wait here."Sora said. A voice ran through his head, trying to mimic Rikus calm voice:'No mountain nor sea, no thing of this world, could keep us apart. Because this is not my world....you are...' Sora seemed to be drianed even more by these words, his spirit seemed to fade as the loneliness grew in his heart.

 

Ashir winced at the healing process, and EAM sat down by Ashir again. "... This is worse then I'd have imagined..." She then took out a small piece of her memory and lodged it within Ashir.

Parma noticed the entire town becoming grayer and blacker. 'Sora, be careful'. She glared around as some machines crawled towards them.

 

"Hang in there..."Aerith kept up her healing magic.

Sora noticed the machines. Riku...where are you.... "Mommy..."Destiny clung to Sora, scared.

 

Parma hopped down to the ground and glared at the machines. 'Lay off of them, they are mine'
"Bzzt... They have color... You are like us bzzt...." One of the machines mechanically buzzed.
'They are with me. I am one of color.' Parma glared more.
"... bzzt... You are like us... do not deny..." the machine buzzed again.
'Leave before I slice you' Parma spread her wings to intimidate the machines.

 

Sora looked up, hearing the voice again: 'I would face any horror and overcome my greatest fears just to hear your voice before I go to sleep'... "Shut up...Your not Riku..."Sora whispered, ignoring the voice. "You'll never see him.... why keep such useless emotions in your heart?" This voice was a voice Sora didn't recognize. "shut up..."Sora muttered, his apparance seeming to dull. "Give up on your emotions... give up your heart..." "Mommy!"Destiny clung to Sora. "Shut up...I love Riku... I love him...so much..."Sora started crying. Destiny whimpered, starting to wail as well.

VEL frowned, sensing something off. "Whatsshe doing here?"she whispered.

 

"Who is s--" EAM looked around, everything was becoming grey and dim. "... Oh no, VEL, watch Ashir, I have to go and find Sora and the others." She ran out, giving a final glance at Ashir. "Make sure he's safe..."

 

"I will."VEL said.

Sora could feel the emotions draining from his heart... all but one. "Why do you still care about him? He betrayed you once, he'll do it again..."the voice sneered. "Shut up! Riku loves me! "Sora yelled. "The one thing I've learned about love, it all turns to ashes in the end...Drain your heart of all emotion, fade into this monochrome world where you belong...Give up your heart..."This female figure appeared next to the machines. She wore a black cloak over her face. She went over to Sora, making an unzipping motion as all the colors from Sora's emotions faded away, only the pink of love remaining...but even then it wasn't enough to bring Sora back to his bright and cheery self. "I'll be back for your heart later... I'll start small first..."she dissapeared, along with Destiny. "NO!"Sora yelled...He was speechless, and if he still had the emotion he would've been crying his eyes out. The only color left was thr pink of love, and all that was was a tiny glow of pink in his stomach.

 

EAM looked around, she was completely dim and monochrome. She stared at her hands, and how dim they looked. She frowned, and started running, taking out her blue mechanical pencil. She started drawing wings on her to take flight to find Sora quicker.

 

Sora wanted to cry, he wanted to yell...but all he could do was stare at the pink glow of the litter inside him, arms protectively around his stomach. "Riku....please..."He whispered.

 

"Sora!" EAM landed by him, Parma becoming a blade to slice away some machines.
'About time Miss' Parma blinked to EAM. EAM just patted Sora's head.
"Sora, honey, listen to me..." she cooed, trying to help.

 

Sora looked at EAM, his eyes a dull blue-grey. everything about him seemed dull and grey...well, asides from the pink glow.

 

"Listen to me. I need you to do me a huge favor and collect colors. You have pink and I have blue, all we need are the others. The red, green, yellow, orange, that's all we need." EAM cooed more. She drew with her pencil on Sora, a pair of large wings and used the color to color Sora's eyes and the tears he needed to spill.

 

Sora shook his head, tears streaming down his cheeks. "I don't think I can...I...I need Riku..."apparemntly someone really needed a confidence boost...

 

"Sora, hun, listen... If you can collect the colors, you can get to Riku even quicker then you'd imagine..." EAM cooed more. "Sora, I believe you can do this. If you don't go, this color will fade entirely." she placed a hand on Sora's stomach, then quickly retracted it.

 

"O-Okay..."Sora wiped his eyes. "I don't think this color would ever fade away...ever..."he said, a hand over his stomach."there are so many people dear to me...I would never forget any of them..."he gave a faint smile.
