VEL's eyes flashed a bit, but that was it."awww...Poor thing can't talk..."Sora held VEL in a warm hug.

 

EAM chuckled. "Give me a bit. Now where's my 5? I'll need him to help."

 

Sora found Roxas and kinda had to drag the little scaredy cat to EAM.

 

EAM first put a finger on Roxas's damaged eye area. "I'm sorry old friend. But let's go find VEL a temporary voice."

 

"O-Okay..."Roxas said. "Can I help?"Sora asked.

 

"I don't think this kind of technology is in your field. Besides, 2 and 5 are the builders and inventors." EAM explained. "You are more of a protector, like 7.... Come Roxas." EAM went of into the shadows.

 

Roxas followed. "Protector...?Oh well, at least I ain't no damsel in distress anymore."Sora sighed.

 

"You never were a DiD." EAM chuckled. She searched through some ruins, and found a little toy doll's speaker for their voice. "There... now to tweak it."

 

"well with all thats happened to me I wouldn't be surprised if I started getting that title..."Sora sighed.

 

EAM went over to VEL, her new voicebox shined up a bit. "Now open up."

 

VEL nodded, making it so EAM could put in her new voice box.

 

EAM put it in, having the cables twisted together and looked down to VEL. "Try speaking."

 

"Yeah, say something."Sora said "Okay, something."VEL said simply. "chu! thanks E-chan!"cue huggles. Sora giggled.

 

"Now, I still hear some static in there, give me a sec." EAM was very stern when it came to this.

 

VEL nodded. She didn't mind static, since her element was electricity and all that.

 

EAM did a few adjustments and looked at VEL again. "Try again."

 

"Cinnamon buns!"VEL wasn trying out her new voice by saying 'cinnamon buns' different ways. Sora couldn't help but laugh.

 

EAM sighed miserably. "Not iCarly, I've had enough of that, thank you." EAM adjusted more things.

 

"Sorry. I couldn't think of anything else to yell."VEL said. "anyway...For Sora, its like the mother duck effect. The first thing a baby duck sees, it immediantly thinks its the baby ducks mommy. It won't be convinced that anything else is its mother but what it first sees."she said.

 

"That's it!" EAM clapped at herself, closing up VEL and smiling at her work.
