When the light of the bird cleared, all that was left was the bird. It glowed a very bright lavender. Ashir awed it, as it curiously took a step, looking at it's feet.

 

"What did I dooo...?"Sora was spazzing out on what he just did.

 

Parma landed in front of the pheonix, studying it. 'This is Miss! She knew her body couldn't live, so her energy self used the nearest host! Pure energy!'
Ashir hugged his feathered mother, she nudged his cheek.

 

Sora gave a small sigh. "Well, at least she's okay."he said.

 

Mage looked up to Sora, the bird form changing into an outline of Mage, looking to Sora. "We should be hurrying now."

 

"Okay... lets find Kareno. Maybe he's found that creature."Sora said. Wolf groaned a bit. "You okay?"Sora asked. "yeah...stomach ache."Wolf lied, getting alittle nauseous.

 

Mage hurried along, only to have a long tongue wrap around her neck and pull her into the shadows.
"Mom!" Ashir yelled, running out to get her.

 

"Mage!"Sora ran to get Mage, Wolf quickly following.

 

Mage was gone, Ashir was crying.
"Mom... It's going to use her, use her up and there'll be nothing left!" he bawled even more, Parma trying to comfort him.

 

"No....I won't let that happen!"Sora ran in the direction Mage dissapeared. "Sora!"Wolf sighed.

 

Parma stopped Sora, flying in front of him. 'Idiot, wait a moment! They must know very well about energy and use it as a weapon, which we don't want!'

 

Sora frowned. "We don't want to lose, Mage either!"He snapped. Wolf frowned.

 

'But the problem is, she could be used to power whatever they are building, and use her as a weapon against us.' Parma was strict and firm.
"We have to be careful..." Ashir whimpered a moment.

 

"I understand..."Sora's fists trembled a bit. "I'm sorry...."Wolf frowned. "Just leave me alone! You and the Drak Nobodies have down enough damage! So just get lost!"Sora yelled in rage. Wolf looked at Sora. "Fine... I see how it is... I'm going to find Kareno...."Wolf went to find Kareno. Sora was fighting back tears. Everytime I try to help someone I can't.... what kind of hero am I?

 

"Sora... Cuz, it'll be okay... What about Aunty VEL?" Ashir looked to the sky. Parma silently perched on his shoulder.

 

"She should be with...uh...what was his name again...anyway, she should be with him and the kittens."Sora said. "You have some pretty devoted kids..."Wolf chuckled nervously.

 

you mean me Sora? *black shadow appears on front of sora and takes form of a dark version of me* Yo. How are things there?

 

Ashir was looking around, Parma was trying to track down Mage.

 

"Uh...sorry, we're kind of looking for Mage right now."Sora said.

"Shouldn't you two be watching the kittens?"Sora asked.
