bic: Mage walked into the saloon, walking into the bar. She didn't notice Riku yet, probably because this desert had changed him. Her combat armor and the slave scarf didn't make her very visible. "I think I remember there being squirrel stew. I don't mind the rads, I just need some nutrition."

 

Raucous laughter could be heard from the bar as the men drank, Riku long used to the vodka he sipped so needily. The bartender had told them a joke and as the laughter died, she shook her head.

"Nah but if you're really looking for a way to get to your sweetheart, ask around Freeside and Helios One. Maybe one of the vaults will lend a clue."

"I hope so," Riku muttered and shook his head, "I just want to see Sora again."

"Yup, now pay your tab and get out you drunk"

Another bout of laughter overtook them.

 

Sora followed Mage into the saloon, alittle in awe. "Meow!"Yuki meowed at the surroundings. "Yuki...."Sora genltly shushed Yuki. "Oh boy..."he gave a small sigh. He probably stook out like a sore thumb. "What have I gotten myself into...? I probably look like a deer in headlights..."he muttered. And it wasn't just that. Running in the desert had its tolls. Sora's hair was a mess, His face and clothes had dirt all over, and he was already sweating in the heat of the desert. To be blunt, he looked like crap.

 

Mage watched the drunks, annoyed. "Stupid idiots." she mumbled. Her ear twitched, catching one yound voice. "Wait, who's the underage drinker?! You drunk f*ckers better tell me or I'll burn your boozed butts with my Incinerator!" her fist pounded into the table. "You with the Vodka, that's heavy stuff... Call me Pre-War fashioned but are you underage?"

 

"Mage!"Sora whined at Mage's behavior. Yuki and Tenshi whimpered, staying hidden in Sora's bag. "You have to forgive my friend..."Sora said. His eyes drifted up as he fixed a stray part of his bangs that fell over his eyes. There....

 

"Sora, grow a pair! We have to live on our own, kill a few DeathClaws and other damn f*ckers! Powder Gangers, NCR, Ceaser's Legion... All those damn b*st*rds!" Mage needed soap in her mouth, badly. Her entire character had changed.

 

Sora whimpered a bit. He really didn't like this world. He wanted to find Riku and get out. But instead he was being yelled at, making him feel like a weakling.If this is what I'm going to be going through the whole time I shoud've just stayed with V-chan...

 

Mage walked up to Sora, giving a final snuff. "Sorry, sorry. I told you this world was dangerous. I mean, who knows, he could be hanging around boozies and drinking Pre-War Hard Liquor. This world will harden you. Don't allow it to break you though. We better get the young ones out of here before they see the horrible things of this world.

 

"Y-Yeah..."Sora nodded."Good idea..."he fixed his bag. "So...First get the kittens safe and then look for Riku."Sora opened up the bag where Yuki and Tenshi immediantly took their heads out to look around the saloon.

 

Mage brought Sora outside, casting a fiery purple portal. "VEL will get them. She should be on the other side."

 

"Alright. In you go guys."Sora let Yuki and Tenshi out of the bag. The two kittens immediantly ran through the portal. "So um...since you're more experience here then I am...do you mind showing me the ropes...or whatever?"Sora asked.

"Incoming!"VEL said as Yuki and Tenshi came through the portal. Vanitas looked at the two kittens. "More? Oh great, I already have these 3 clinged on to me."he sighed. Said kittens purred at being mentioned. VEL couldn't help but laugh.

 

Ashir seemed to lighten, grinning.

"I... uh... Sorry, I haven't done much. I mostly traveled. Let's head back into the saloon and grab some grub. Squirrel stew? Or grilled gecko?" Mage asked, heading back into the saloon. "The ropes are, know how to shoot a gun, shoot people shooting at you, and survive."

 

"Um...Okay...well I guess I could use some....food..."Sora gulped a bit at the food choices. Well, I guess its like the pridelands. grubs and gazelle aren't that bad either....

 

"Trust me, its fresher then Pre-War Sugar Bombs cereal. We'll get something to clean out the rads later." Mage chuckled. "I've had dog meat in this land, so no worry."

 

"alright! Get some food, find Riku...Feeling more confident now..."Sora started stretching out, taking a few deep breaths. "Despite already being filthy, I'm feeling pretty good now..."Sora brushed the dirt off his clothes.

 

The two men had ignored the noise newcomers, the bartender (for the life of me, i can't remember her name yet...) had gone to the back to check on some noise. When they had left for the moment, Boone raised an eyebrow at Riku.

"Underage?"

Riku shook his head, "Just some broad shooting her mouth off. Probably a Powder Ganger or one of those rogue wanderers. You know the sort."

Boone chuckled and continued drinking, wondering where they would restfor the night. Riku took another sip and frowned, wondering why the voices seemed familar. That tone, that anger seemed slighlty reminiscent but the words had certainly been out of character. The other one.. Would he get a clear view of the other kid?

BIC:Sora headed back into the saloon, not recognizing Riku. "Hey, you were the guy who was 'underage', right? Sorry for my friend yelling."he said nervously. "I'm kind of new to this place...think you can show me the ropes around here?"he asked. He knew that it was simple...asides from the 'handling a gun' part. He at least wanted to get used to a gun.

bic: Mage re-wrapped the slave scarf around her head, keeping herself warm. She grumbled loudly against the boozies, but she was a nuetral chick- sides were strictly prohibited. She watched them, taking out a bottle of purified water. She was about to drink it- but wait, what was that? "You, underage boozy, with me. Now, please."

BIC:Sora gave a small sigh. Guess I'm on my own and learning how to handle a gun....

 

Mage groaned irritably. "Here, you shoot a gun by squeezing this trigger. Now go practice your aim on the Sasprilla bottles out back." She turned back to her boozy, firm.
