Mage grinned at Ven, holding a purple flame. It mishmoshed itself into an apple. " Poor dear must be hungry. And dear Parma has been telling me of his nightmares. This should help." She held out the apple, smiling sweetly. 'Oh dear, I hope that enemy from long ago isn't arising...'

 

"Alright, I'll go ahead and give it to Sora."Ven took the apple. Vanitas was still alittle sore that he couldn't come with Ven, but maybe it was for the best. Sora would probably have a calm reaction, but he wasn't sure how Riku would react to the darkling.

 

Riku, darling, get up. Its time for breakfast...

"What... breakfast...?" Riku mumbled as he opened his eyes, instantly shutting them again from the blinding white light above. He groaned, keep his eyes shut as he tried to raise an arm to cover his eyes so the light wouldn't sting him again. Except, he couldn't. In panic he tried again but to no avail as he felt something keeping him down, straps on his wrists and upper arm. His legs too, were bound at the calves and ankles. Looking for answers, he opened his eyes and found the searing white light of before now the dull glow of a dusty lightbulb. A quick scan of the room resulted in hopelessness as he realized he was strapped down on a gurney in a dimly lit operating room. Riku groaned again, remembering what had left him here.

Some time before...
"Sora!" Riku cried out, lost yet again since a certain guide named HL had led him astray to talk some plans with him. As always, she forgot to meet him to talk of the mentioned plans and had left him without even a map to get back to his family. He searched desperately in the unknown world where it seemed apocalypse had dropped by. Towns were left in ruins, nothing but wasted plains in between, and currency had been reduced to caps from bottles of drinks such as "sasparilla" and "nuka cola." Radiation was a major problem he understood from the people he had met as he walked form town to town, doing missions in order to be able to eat something that wasn't mutated.

Alas, it seemed like he would never see his family again.

Luckily, he was offered the job of courier. Not so lucky was he was left for dead on one of his jobs. Some men had attacked him as he was about to deliver a package although he couldn't remember if it was NCR, Caeser's men, or one of the others. NCR were good guys unfortunately so he doubted they would do such a thing. The others on the other hand..

Present Day
"How you holding up?" Doc asked as he came into the room, chucling as soon as he saw Riku's enraged face, "Easy now, I had to in order to keep you from squirming so much. Worst case I've seen in a while."

With wariness, he unstrapped Riku who immediatley got off and rubbed his sore limbs. After a few tests both physical and mental, Doc assessed Riku had done a full recovery. They talked a bit and Doc suggested Riku go out and relearn some skills. That was however, Doc handed Riku a not he said someone had left for him.

Riku read the note outloud, "Sora is watiing. Open the gate."

Within moments a brilliant gate of light opened and Doc was nowhere to be seen. A soft melody could be heard from the gate and a familar warmth enveloped him. Riku smiled and without hesitation, ran into the gate.

bic: Mage nodded, sitting by her son. "VEL, are you bringing that demon back?"

OOC: I'm playing Fallout: New Vegas for the PS3 lol. Had it stuck in my head for a while xD

BIC: Riku opened his eyes, arriving at a strange location that had the familiar scent of Sora. He shook his head and looked around but didn't see anyone. "Sora!!"

 

Mage picked up a scent, as did Ashir. "I smell Cola... but oddly diifferent." she muttered..
"I smell a dark and light energy." Ashir paused.
Mage stood, her Unversed body smoothly gliding almost. Three small blue balls of light-the size of a tennis ball- came to the artist. "Bebe, Sill, Tae, find that smell." The three swirled in a circle and seperated.
"Mom, I know you finished Epic Mickey yesterday... But calling your Guardians?" Ashir whined.
"We'll be searching as well." his mother smirked.

BIC: "OOH OOH! I wanna help! Venus and Leon can help! and Ratta and Lazuli! And Rai and Arcanos! And maybe Blaze, Swallow, Gaurdian, Zacky, Dusty, and then Shadow of course."VEL pitched in some ideas. "Um.....whats going on?"Vanitas asked. suddenly VEL got a burst of inspiration. "OOH! OOH! I know they won't really help much but I know some little guys that will help. Its not much but Steve is a trooper!"she started hopping up and down. "Oh, but to get off the topic, its not the Foxen Wolf. He's definately never going to bother Sora again, believe me."she said.

BIC:Sora looked around his bedroom, feeling relieved that he was dreaming "Riku....."He shook his head, frowning.

 

Mage stopped, whistling. Tae returned, swirling around VEL a moment. "We shall look for that smell later." she murmured. "If you're bringing your arsenal, I could bring one of my others.... I remember my Togetic, lovely thing. I raised it since it was an egg."

 

"I love my Fire Red team. Took on the Elite 4 and not a single one of them was at level 50! In fact by the time I faced Gary Rai was the only one at level 50. Lazuli saved the day with Charizard!"VEL boasted in pride. "And then I am going to take good care of every single one of them when I'm able to play Soul Silver again. They can all live happily in my Soul Silver game. So can my Emerald team. Of course, right now they're all still in their first stage. My game keeps messing up with the saving. and then there is this."VEL took out a gameboy cartridge that was light blue and a sticker of Suicune still perfectly intact.

"Crystal was my very first pokemon game....only now it won't even let me keep a save file. everytime I try it just says 'new game'. Not that I mind though."VEL shrugged. Vanitas was....well confused was an understatement.

 

Mage thought, shrugging. "Internal battery?" She waved it off, tickling Tae. "Tae, I want you to stay with us, please." Tae purred, adoring its master.

 

"Either way, it's lasted about 10 years so it makes sense."VEL shrugged. "alot of good memories."she smiled. "By the way.... Is it wrong that when I was playing Fire Red I actually enjoyed listening to the music in Lavender Town?"VEL asked.(tottaly serious.XD)

 

Mage shrugged. "Sure, but the original Japanese fabled Lavender Town Tone makes my right ear now feel like its bleeding." She coughed,stopping. "But I do not recommend..."

 

"meh, I guess it was just a side effect to reading one too many pastas...."VEL chuckled. "Um.....what are you guys talking about?"Vanitas asked. "Oh, nothing. Just something for nostalgia."VEL smiled.

Riku heard whisperings up ahead, making sure to keep his hunting rifle on hand. He had an arsenal of weapons before including a laser pistol and a recharging revolver but only the rifle remained when he went through the glowing portal. The NCR radio was still with him although he was unsure as to how they would help him here. Not like they could make a portal too. Or could they?

"Sora!" he cried out again, wishing he had a stealth boy on him. Even a keyblade would help right now. With a sigh, he opened a Nuka-Cola and paused for a few moments while he gulped it down.
