This is the first thing I've made in... at least a month. i don't know if I like it. Adding a drop shadow to the Lightning image was a bad idea, I think. :\
I actually quite like this. Nice array of different colors. Maybe do something to keep her hair from blending in too much with the surrounding area. The off-white backdrop seems kinda big to me personally. And maybe try some stuff with the big emptiness on the left of Lightning. I like the image you used though, shows lots of her details I think :D
Yay! I missed your beautiful work, Trigger. This piece is lovely, in my opinion. Lovely colours and I like the backdrop for some reason. But it looks kinda feels empty..Ah well. Good work~ c:
I can see this on tumblr adurdurdruuurrr But this is absolutely gorgeous, as usual. I really like everything about it actually. I love the colours and how light everything is and feels. I like how simple and effortless it looks too. All the colours blend and mesh together really well and I am in love with everything about the text. I also love the play with texture in the back, it gives it character. I like the Drop Shadow too - it gives a more 3D look (obviously lol) and adds depth. i really have no complaints. It's beautiful.
Trigger <3~ As usual, your work is practically flawless. The colours, image, lighting,Lightning (see what I did there,eh,eh?) and just...everything is ever so beautiful. As Hu-Bu mentioned, the white background looks a bit too big...but then you start getting used to it,and everything looks perfect. Lovely work sweetheart,I do adore seeing the magic you create.
I'm glad to see that you're back to making things, Trigger. Frankly, I've missed your work. Though the colors are a bit too dodged on Lightning for my tastes, you did a nice job. The drop shadow is actually pretty nice, though it's more subtle on the right side. Even if you're having a block, you'll get back into the swing of things soon. In the meantime, this is nice.
I don't really like it, to be honest. You made some color edits on a stock, took a larger piece with a texture, slapped the edited stock onto it, added a drop shadow, and put some plain white text over it. It is too bright overall and it is more of the same stuff you have been doing. You should try something different. Try making something darker, and avoid doing the "framing" thing you have been. Try to make a normally-size signature that looks good without the textured surface to sit on. I would like to say that I do not mean this personally and that you should take it with a grain of salt. Just my two cents.
