Kingdom Hearts II Theory on the location in secret movie

In the secret KH2:FM+ Ending movie, Anyone considered this could be the creation of The World That Never Was. What with the heart shaped moon, and that rock jutting out toward it (which seems fairly reminicscent of the Nobodies castle). Thats what it reminded me of anyway.

Of course, Nomura said the moon was not Kingdom Hearts, so you have to wonder if the moon in TWTNW is constantly Kingdom Hearts, or if it was just a moon until Xemnas gathered enough hearts there.

 

That seems like a good theory but the area seen in the secret endings makes it feel as if it took place on the "CrossRoads" where Sora & Co. were at the beginning of CoM.

Still we don't know what has happened to the area as of now because of the the desert like appearance in the ending. We can only wait to see if the seen is in the past or whatnot...

 

Hmm. Can't seem to find it, would've sworn I saw it as news here (Hopefully it wasn't off the April Fools one ^^;; ) But regardless of whether it's Kingdom Hearts or not, that moon has only shown up in TWTNW up until now, plus the sky going from day to night could've been permanent.

 

That's what I thought when I first saw the vid I was like...Woah...crossroads....the rock jutting out seems very similar to the castle....the heart-shaped moon...woah...

Question: When did Tetsuya Nomura say that the moon was not Kingdom Hearts?

 

Like I replied, I can't seem to find the interview I read, so I might've misread something.

Though it'd make even more sense if it actually was Kingdom Hearts.

EDIT: also, didn't Sora have to travel through a dimension just to get there, meaning it could still be a crossroads for each path.

Well this is sort of the problem. No one can know for sure if this takes place in the past, the future, another dimension, etc. so it's all up in the air.

I like to think it takes place in the past, what with the mention of Xehanort's memories, Keyblades we've seen in the KH games all in one place, with more to boot. Also Mickey with Starseeker and black threads, which I like to believe makes this take place after his training with Yen Sid, and this is just after he gains knowledge about keyblades/kingdom hearts/other worlds through Yen Sid.

And what's so wrong with Mickey and the threads and Starseeker? You guys are taking everyone elses theories too seriously

no I mean that everyone is like "OMG, Xehanort is the old man/e.s." after one person suggests it, I didn't mean you. I'm just saying that people are going crazy off a theory

The crossroads is in Disney Castle...I think, wait no it's not I thought since pluto was there that it was the castle. Well the fact is that we don't know if it's the same world

but the crossroads seems like a good idea and when did nomura say it wasn't kingdom hearts?? >.> anyways, maybe the RK is xahanort? ... you know...it did come out of old man's baody right? ((if i remember...)) >.> correct me if I am wrong anywhere~

 

If the battle happens in the distant past, and all the fighters are involved in the keyblade wars, the place could be the original whole world, before the lands were split.

It would make sense for something as important as the crossroads to exist in a place like that.
