Kingdom Hearts II Theory on Knights....

So, I don't know if this has been said already or not, but here it goes. Do you guys think that the taller knight in the trailer could possibly be Sora's dad? And that the person walking toward them could be Xehanort, since in the Ansem Reports it says that when Ansem found him, he had no memories? I think it'd be cool if it was, because we've never heard any mention of Sora's dad, only his mom. Plus it would make sense that the keyblade chose Sora to be its master if his dad was a keyblade weilder. Those are my thoughts on that. What do you guys think?

 

Well, I doubt it... I persoanlly don't believe his parents will play any sort of role in KH.

 

Hm...well, I never really thought of it that way. I mean, it might be possible.

But the keyblades looked old, so I don't know if it was a before or after KHII. And it said the Keyblade War....hm, but good idea.

 

I think it actually could be his Dad. I mean, we only heard his Mom in KH, so maybe his Dad was away to other worlds. And Maybe that's what Sora's lust for travelling to other worlds was all about.

The thing is, Sora's dad and his mum were swallowed by darkness on Destiny Island (just as everybody else was). I don't think there's any way they'll play any role in the KH franchise.

I see where your going w\ that but wouldn't it say something about his dad before? Thats usually how storys like that are you know?

 

it could be a slight possibility that the person can be sora's dad.....cause they look the same....the brown hair and the blue eyes and face......i mean, come on.....don't you think it will look stupid that kh3 is about 10 years from now, that we won't see sora and the gang grow maturely......when kh1 and kh2 is only a one year happening......

 

I'm not sure if it could be Sora's dad, but in the secret ending they said something about Xeanorts memory and stuff like that and they showed one of the knights walking so I'm guessing it prolly him.

 

And I got to thinking, and maybe one of those knights is related to Kairi.

Like, maybe the Keyblade War separated the worlds and that's how Kairi "mysteriously" came to Destiny Islands or something.

their parents wont have anythin g to do with the game if all sora thinks about is his freinds and not his family then im guesssing they wont have anythin to do with it soras forgotten about them :) lol the knight waliing thru the sand storm is most likely the one to be xehanort out of any of them and yeah thats all

 

how bout the posiblity that it is sora as an adult or sora's son or something like that that might make some sense but probably not much

 

There has been no information released other then the knights are completely different characters and not Sora, Riku, and Kairi. But I do not think that its Sora's dad, It could have been Xenahort that was coming towards the knights, though.

I don't think that the guy in the mist is Xehenort, it would most likely be Roxas, or another keyblader. According to Final Mix, one boss you face is harder than Sephiroth, and it's a keyblader. And since Nomura also said you'll fight a highly demanded Org. member you didn't get to fight in the other games, that could only mean either Roxas or Zexion.

I suppose that it could be a possiblitiy - i mean for all we know: the next game could keep going back and forth between the past and future...
You know, like the Quitone Torotino (sp) movies.

Hopefully there will be some dedicated Japanese kids who will play KHII FM+ for two to three days straight and finnally see the secret ending and then post it on youtube or filefront for us.

But i personnally can't see Sora's father in KHIII; for all we know - his parents may have had a divorce or something before any on the KH games started....

yeah i think the one you get to fight is roxas but i dont think hell be the one in the mist because nomura said they are completely new ppl and roxas isnt new anymore but he might show up like once in the next game just to keep the roxas fans happy but you know the thing is theres a chance itll come over here to america so dont give up on it yet you ppl

 

It could be Sora's older brother. No, they said they were COMPLETELY different. Or how about this. We just assume it's a new character. o_o

i n some trailer i forgot which the knight stumbled down the hill and part of the mask came off. it reavealed the brown hair and blue eyes of......someone. my personal opinion is that is is Sora when he is eighteen. I also have supporting detail. In KH1 Sora was 14. In KH2 he was 16. So wouldn't make since if it was him when he was 18? Ya'know 14-16-18? Just thought that might be it. And Nomura might have just been trying to trick people about the secret ending.

First off, Sora is 15 in KH1. There is only a year long gap in between, not two years. You can even read the manual for K1 and I do believe it says he is 15.
Anywya, onto the topic. I highly, highly doubt it is Sora's dad, though since we all think there is no way, maybe Tetsuya will be like "Haha, fooled ya." I dunno. If the character is in anyway related to Sora, I would guess his son, just because I think that would be cool :) Otherwise, I'm wagering on all new character.

 

Okay,(haven't posted in a while.) addressing the whole parents thing. There's no way that we know that Sora's dad was on Destiny Islands in KH1. Plus, imagine for a moment if you will, the knight being Sora's dad. He and the other Knights could've been in the keyblade war in the past (think Clone Wars but much, much cooler), fighting against another army (controlled by Xehanort, who is desperately searching for the ultimate soldiers to defeat the wielders, the Heartless). Then, something that they (or Xehanort for that matter) did during the war set in motion the events that caused the heartless to be released in KH1. However, Sora's dad is killed (along with the other knights) and Xehanort is left without a memory (eventually ending up in the care of Ansem). Therefore, the keyblade seeks out someone to get rid of the Heartless and chooses his son, Sora. I personally think that this would be a cool sort of backstory (of course, everyone is entitled to his or her opinion). I mean, I'm not saying that you'd have to play as his Dad, you could play as Sora. But as he progresses through the story in KH3, he could learn about the past keyblade wielders and eventually about his father. That was a very long post that explained a little more of my theory and that I hope that made at least some sense.
