Terra's eyes.

The only people in KH whose eyes are orange are:
Ansem (Heartless), Xemnas, Xehanort (KH2), Master Xehanort...
And for some reason, Ansem the Wise.

All of these people were closely related to Xehanort. (I think it's safe to assume Baldy is somehow related to Xehy.) Two of them were Xehanort.
I'm not saying that people's eyes turn orange when they meet him, or anything. I'm saying that they've made a point of making his eyes and and their eyes a special, specific color.

However, yellow eyes have been more associated with Heartless and dark... And people with pointy ears. Saïx's eyes were yellow, for example (picture), the exact same color that Terra's eyes turned.
That makes me think that Terra was either using dark or he was going into a Berserk mode similar to Saïx's. Not that he was turning into Xehy or anything.

You assume that refers to the same person. There were at least 5 Keyblade Masters. Three of them "saved the world," the other two "wrought ruin and chaos upon it." That statement also seems to refer to the Keyblade Masters in general, not any one in particular.

Terra was obviously not entirely there in that scene. And, I agree, he recognized Sora wasn't Riku, and he probably did know what Xehanort looked like. But how would be know that Xehy could take over someone's body?
In fact, KH2 Xehy never took over anyone's body. Ansem did. And Ansem was a Heartless, he could do Heartless things. Possessing someone seems like a Heartless sort of thing.

He might hesitate and stutter because... He wasn't entirely there. He was a little disoriented, as you say. I don't think Terra stuttering to say a 3-syllable name is a very big deal...
Xehanort was no longer there. Xemnas and (formerly) Ansem were. How could KH2 Xehanort have done anything at all to Terra when he wasn't really there at that time? Obviously, Xemnas and Ansem never messed with him, nor knew he existed.

=O i have a thought perhaps they all have different destinies you know? Since we don't have enough information on Aqua, we don't know what is going to happen to her, but possibly Terra turns evil and Ven turns good so they oppose each other while perhaps Aqua is sacraficed to stop the conflict and their spirits were moved to another body or so

 

I dun't believe it. Absolute rubbish, y'know. The Xehanort in that trailer looked TOO old to be him. XD I can't find any logical sense to see that Xehanort's Heartless or Xehanort himself is tied to Terra. I mean, if that were true, why is Terra STILL there? Terra and Xehanort look nothin' alike plus they're at odds with each other. Plus, I would not dare to assume that this mysterious protagonist would be evil. So he fought Sora once. That doesn't make him evil. <.<

I'd just wait to just play the darn game instead of thinkin' of 'WHAT IF'. Cause it tends to blow things outta proportion like Naruto fer instance. XD

 

i dont really think so...these "corruption theories" are really getting to me...riku was mislead and then taken over, with his heart being too weak to do anything. Terra seems powerful enough to break free from that...

this keyblade master who brought happiness and chaos: why cant it be MX? I mean, he must have been some kind of powerful guy a long time ago (before bbs even) and it seems he was good long ago since he took in 3 kids and made them his apprentice. He might have been a hero a long time ago, but as u can see, hes definately evil now ANND he weilds: DUN DUN DUN: A keyblade!

Sure, it looks like Terra is using the power of darkness, but i dont think hes poweful enough to bring world chaos...im not going to doubt that whole, he might be the kh2 xehanort thing because i believe in it too, and ansem and xemnas are really powerful, but it says that chaos happened by the use of a KEYBLADE. neither xemnas nor ansem use the keyblade, and as a young adult we havent seen Terra do anything that looked like world chaos. in fact, it seems like he was using his darkness (the gold eyes) AGAINST MX.

all i all im saying:
Terra wasnt possesed by MX but possibly corrupted by his darkness (he did it himself, no one controlled him)
Terra isnt the great keyblade master who saved the world and brought chaos to it later.
He might be xemnas and heartless xehanort, but again, whatever chaos they brought was by the usage of their own minds and tactics not by Terra's keyblade.

 

You havent seen the "Rage Awakened" battle on KH2 FM+ have you? The dude turns the keyblade into all sorts of wierd weapons... including a BAZOOKA!!! That thing alone looks like it could take out a planet!
