Birth by Sleep Theory Connecting Ven to Sora and Explaining his Resemblence to Roxas

My theory is that Ven lost his heart somewhere along the way after BBS, forming a Nobody. Then, that Nobody encountered a random Human Form Heartless and formed Sora, who continued livmeing as if he hadn't lost his heart. He befriended Riku, and later Kairi, and blahbitty blahbitty blah. Then Sora lost HIS heart, causing Ven's Nobody to reappear, being named Roxas.

Now BEFORE you dismiss this as a bunch of gobbledygook, saying that Sora was already shown in a scene from the trailer, we still don't know WHEN that happened. If I'm right, this scene happened after the final played events of BBS and Terra decided that he would look after his friend.

Another thing that could prove me wrong that I will refute. The "Erase Me" scene. It's a vision that Aqua is having. "Erase me" in this case would mean, "move on, erase me from your memory." I hope I've convinced you. Let's go over my equation again to be sure you understand.

Hmm, its possible. Certaintly more plausible and original than 'Ven is Sora's father'.

However, why, when Sora was formed from Ven's Nobody and a random Heartless, would his appearance and age change so drastically? Apart from the eyes, I don't think Sora looks anything like Roxas/Ven. It would have to be a very strange Heartless...

If Terra is indeed watching over Ven/Sora, then perhaps he is Sora's adoptive father?

I would like to see Aqua's role, too. No-one seems to focus on her much. She's the only female Keyblade Wielder apart from Kairi (Who has not been confirmed- it could be one created by Riku) and Xion (Also doesn't count due to a technicality I won't reveal - spoilers for Days

 

I actually like this theory. I don't believe it to be right, but it's very possible.
If I remember right, a body is the shell for the heart and takes appearance depending on the heart. So Ven could have become a Nobody, absorbed someone's heart and because of that heart, his body would have became that of a kid's. (Maybe while on Destiny Islands, Sora became a Heartless and that was Ven's way of saving it.) MX could have taken Ven's heart (remember the scene where MX tells Ven he lost something). Then when Sora becames a Heartless (again), Kairi gave him a new body or something like that. HIs body was taken from the memories of her, Donald, and Goofy. So his previous body traveled to The Realm of IN Between and became his Nobody, with Sora's emotions/memories (at least the little bit that Roxas had). Roxas could then have reabsorbed Ven's heart without knowing it, giving him an actual heart, but he never got the memories back because he had spent too much time with Sora's heart. That last part may not be credible, tho.
I had a similar theory when I first joined the site, saying Ven's body was abandoned by his heart and possibly his soul and when Sora became a Heartless, his soul traveled into Ven's body and used Sora's heart to become somebody new (Roxas)

If Sora's a product of Ven, how do you explain his mother's "appearence" in KH1?

 

None of the parents have contributed to the story in a big way.
It could be anything from she adopted the newly made Sora, or Sora has always been her son but became a Heartless and she figured he was missing until he came back after uniting with Ven.

...Why would Vens body have changed form? Sora and Roxas/Ven look alike, true, but Ven is a complete being. If he were to become a Nobody, then the resulting nobody would not look the same as Ven. And then, have we been given any info that just putting any body/soul with a heart will transform them back to humans? and change the body's shape?

And what says that a Nobody CAN'T look like it's Somebody?

 

The Secret Ansem reports. They directly tell you that Nobodies that retain human appearance display physical characteristics of their True Self. This holds true, for the Nobodies we know about: Xemnas, Roxas and Namine.

 

but we don't know if it's ever showed Ven as a Nobody. All we've seen is what Nomura WANTS us to see.

 

That's my point. Plus, we haven't seen a single Heartless in BbS, and we know that the Heartless were only discovered by Ansem the Wise & apprentices after the events of BbS. No Heartless, no Nobodies.

 

But the Heartless DID exist, just in significantly smaller numbers.
As long as Heartless existed, as long as people with strong wills existed, Nobodies existed.

 

actually ansem CREATED the heartless...he extracted the hearts...and noticed dark beings started appearing....which were the shadows....and then he made some...the ones he made had insignias..

 

No, HEartless have existed since as long as Darkness has in people's hearts. These were PUREBLOOD Heartless, but their numbers were so small, they didn't make a big difference.
During Xehanort's (and the other apprentices') experiments, someone's heart collapsed and they became a Shadow.
Xehanort then made a machine to make EMBLEM Heartless. The Emblem Heartlss started stealing people's hearts and making more PUreblood Heartless. The machine kept making more Emblem Heartless who in turn created more Purebloods. The number of Heartless grew drastically.

 

I agree, I highly doubt that Heartless were soley created by Ansem. The Universe is massive and there's more than one corrupt band of researchers throughout the worlds...how do we know he, Xehanort and the others weren't just the latest in a chain?

I meant that in general she doesn't get as much coverage.

 

Ansem didn't create the Pureblood Heartless, but he is responsible for their appearance in the world of Light. They existed in the realm of darkness before, but Ansem brought them into the light, so to speak. Then they would multiply by taking other peoples hearts and expand.

 

I think it's an original theory! One of the better ones I've heard. I'm not completely sure if it could work, since I thought Nomura said Roxas and Ven weren't the same person, but maybe Ven losing his heart could somehow make them different people...?

I'm starting to confuse myself. Really, I'm driving myself crazy over who Ven actually is. I can't wait till the game comes out and all is revealed.

 

Well, my theory says that Ven's Nobody uniting with another heartless would create Sora, and that's why Roxas looks like Ven. Think of it this way. They are the same body, but they are different people.
