Theories, theories, theories rant. XD

Y'know, it had only been a few months to realise how much the KH fandom emphasizes on theories. I mean absolutely no disrespect. Seriously. But, whenever an organization is introduced into a franchise, theories begin poppin' up by the fans. Sometimes these theories are sensible, but other times, they can be downright ridiculous and illogical.

For instance, there's Naruto. Like KH, this series has its villanous organization known as the Akatsuki. Almost all of the speculations have been laid down to rest at this point. One of the biggest theories was Pein bein' the alter ego of the titular character's father, Minato Namikaze.. Even before the truth was confirmed about Pein, this seemed rather ridiculous. There was no logical way for Minato to even be alive after havin' done that Death Reaper Seal technique which kills its user. But there ya go, fans ASSUME this because of the hairstyle similarities, just like with the recent Terra/Xehanort theory. >.> Y'know, I wouldn't be surprised if theories like that were secretly ABOUT the hairstyle. XD Now only months ago that Pein was confirmed to be one of Jiraiya's students BEFORE Minato. The other theory, which should be dead now is the Tobi/Obito conflict. This all actually sparked from several edited pages of the manga.. This is all really bein' kept alive by mostly fangirls but it's been long confirmed that Tobi is Madara Uchiha. OBITO IS DEAD, DAMMIT! DX

And then there's Dragon Ball AF. Only new fans of the legendary series believe that this is in the works. No fan could ferget the infamous image of the Super Saiyan 5 Goku. But beyond that, everything else you hear about it is consistently inconsistent because it's either someone's fanfic, a little lawlz thing, or just to fool the newcomers

'And not's let forget about the Reiko/Shao Kahn dispute. The argument that lasted for years until Mortal Kombat Deception where it was revealed that the former was an obsessive fanboy. This thing was generated by Reiko's ending in Mortal Kombat 4 where he is seen sittin' on a throne with Kahn's helmet dropping onto his face and that the Gameboy version flat out states that Reiko was indeed Shao Kahn. XD I ne'er actually knew about that till I surfed around

I'm not much of a theory person. They're nice and all, but then again, I dun't see a lot of really good supportive theories. All I mostly see are ideas generated from similar hairstyles and name spellings and such. I mean absolutely no offense but, I dun't wanna see a theory that spirals outta control

 

I haven't seen any problems with theories. I don't see anyone taking theories as fact.

Theories on upcoming Kingdom Hearts games don't have to have a lot of supportive details, cause not much is released yet.

 

And there lies the problem. Because there's NOT enough info yet, but people do it fer...I still dun't know. XD Honestly, can't wait wait for a little more solid info BEFORE doin' the theory thing?

 

Speculation in public just makes you look like a fool 90% of the time. Keep your thoughts to yourself or in controlled and realistic discussions.

 

Hey you never know you might just find something big. Like I found out that the old guy in hte Birth By Sleep previews name was Xehanort and a lot about him before it that info was released

 

Because its fun? Its fun to think about kingdom hearts cause it has a good story to it, and teasers, teasers, and more teasers. And it makes your brain work o_O Plus, we all know that the 4th hokage is Naruto's dad, it was in the manga.

 

Because people look for subjects to make half-assed fanfics out of for the sake of wish fulfillment? -SHOT-

I'm sorreh. But I dun't want KH to turn into the next DBAF

 

I make lots of theories but i keep em in my head so i can change them spur of the moment. But I don't make theories about everything, just a couple things. And I don't think I've made any theories about the new games, just the ones that are already out. I don't see the point of posting twenty million theories... They can't all be right, if any of them are.​

 

Honestly, I like to wait a bit for more information before I make any real theories, but for stuff like BBS it helps pass the time. And when you're absolutely wrong, you can shrug it off and say, "Well, I was WAY off."

The Akatsuki was so doomed the day Saso kicked the can ;~;
Why must Kishi screw with his greatest ideas!? It has gone so downhill since it turned into "SASUKE: and the side tales of Naruto!"

Anyway, um it's better than LOL SAKURA & SASUKE R IN LUV. That crap pisses me off like you wouldn't believe.
Look, take a chill pill. It's not serious. It's called speculation. People are guilty of it because they are intelligent beings that like to try to think rationally and produce answers to things.

 

BLASPHEMY! D: The manga never once hinted that the two are one in the same. Yew gonna believe some edited panels posted on YouTube or are ya gonna go back and reread dem chaps again. XD

Speculation often tear up forums when they get outta hand, y'know. Then things get personal and all hell breaks loose. XD

 

I've seen alot of ridiculous theories with Half-Life 2. A most notable one is G-man being Gordon Freeman from the future. There are also over analization(sp) about Adrian Shephard's return to the Half-Life storyline.

 

People title their speculations as theories, not absalute truth.
People who do take speculations as fact are naive boobs.

What would be the point of sharing theories at all if everyone waited for the official storyline?

 

Because THEN we would actually have stuff to work with then
