Kingdom Hearts II their parents...

For all we know, there's no background info. on Hayner, Pence, and Olette's parents. Wat do u think happened 2 them?

 

Well, the barely mention Sora's mom and never mentioned his dad, nor did they with the rest of the characters.

 

Its a world of non-existant parents!

Well, this is one of those typical games...where parents just aren't mentioned. XD And who knows, Hayner, Olette, and Pence might go home to their families, just not spoken about much. But really...since this is a game...no one asks nor do they care. lol​

 

their parents probably DO exsist... since they mentioned them a bit... but they all seem to run around like there are no rules... O.O maybe they don't have parents... >.< I don't really know... lol...

 

The parent's of those characters are just insignificant to the story line. If they were important I'm sure they would have been mentioned at some point or another. But as it is I just assume their family is happy and healthy, nothing to it.

 

I'm sure they have parents. They just aren't important enough to actually design or get VAs for. Really, think about it:
Sora - you hear his mom's voice once.
Riku - nothing
Kairi - grandma who told her stories and mention of an adoptive father
Roxas - he has an apartment in Twilight Town

Yes, Roxas counts. He was living the life of a normal teenager in fake TT, so he should have parents, especially if he has a well-furnished bedroom like that. So, since you only get info on 2 out of the 4 MAIN characters' parents, its not surprising that minor supporting characters don't have much background.

 

I also think they have parents... Maybe they were working elsewhere, maybe even outside the town, when you play as Roxas? Though you'd think they would watch the Struggle tournament, and the audience wasn't exactly huge.
