'Mmhmm? What did she mean by only saying that? Does she not believe me or something?' Spaze thought to herself, keeping her eyes on the new person near them. She gave another glance to Zoft and wondered why he wasn't saying much either.

 

"Yes", Zazabi answered briefly. His voice wasn't forced into an accent making him seem more fluent than he actually was in English. Obviously, his stature was that of a military officer. This also proved that he was able to take orders and had discipline.

Looking in the same direction as Halezy, Emzy sighed and walked forward a few strides. She was not beside Halezy, looking at the new person approach. Ew. Everything about his revoltingly oblivious expression spelled out ALIEN.
“What’s that coming over the hill? Is it a monster? Is it a monsteeer?†She sang lowly so only Halezy and herself could here. She snickered, stuffing her hands in her pockets of her black skinny jeans and looking towards the floor.
She had to put up with this grey-haired freak, so she might as well make a lasting impression...
“...Do you have, like, superpowers?†She smirked, giggling to herself at her own jokes. Damn, this was gonna be fun.

She snickered.
Although Emzy was making a mean impression she had to admit,that song fit the occasion.
And it was definately a good song,indeed.
"I sure hope so,seeing that nobody else here does."
She looked at Emzy while putting her hands in her black and light pink striped sweatshirt pockets.
"But,we do kick ass."

 

Hm. Zoft thought. He closed his left eye again. What is that anyway? Some tic? He didn't appreciate what Emzy said, though he couldn't help giggling and smiling, and put a hand before his mouth.

"Hey there... uh... Zazabi, was it?" Zoft said as he reached out his hand.

 

Zazabi knew that he wasn't welcome, it was natural that he would be considered the freak seeing how he was the only extraterrestrial. Looks like the commander was right, I will have to gain respect from them if I am to remain here, he thought in his natural language. He knew this wasn't the end of the laughing behind his back and if he kept his cool he wouldn't be seeing his former military commander anytime soon.

EDIT: Zazabi looked at the hand stretched out infront of him. He wasn't familiar with this greeting although he had heard of it. Zazabi gripped Zoft's hand with a good handshake. It was his first time at a handshake.

'He didn't reply to them.' Spaze noticed as he just stood there without saying anything but shaking a hand to Zoft. "....Are you able to tell us your name?" Spaze questioned as she unraveled the wrappers of two pieces of gum before chewing them inside her mouth and putting the wrappers in her pocket. She would've thrown them on the ground but she didn't want to look like a litter bug.

Realizing after Zoft shook hands with Zazabi,that she didn't introduce herself yet.
She turned to him and smiled,flipping down her hood.
Hearing that Zoft referred to him as Zazabi...
"Hello Zazabi,I'm Halezy.I am looking forward to working with you."
Then she embraced him,(in which he looked frightened to say the least) and continued,"I'm sure you'll learn a lot more about the human culture from this bunch.Much more than you'll want to."
And then whispering in his ear so nobody else would hear;"Excuse my co-worker Emzy,she's one of my best friends on the squad,she doesn't hate you;not yet.Just needs time to get used to you.Trust me."

 

“As long as fire doesn’t curl from his mouth, I’m cool with him talking with me.” Emzy chuckled, guiding her hands to the back of her head to see if her spikes were still intact, she was so vain at times, it was unbelievable.
Sighing loudly, feeling impatient, the redhead rolled her eyes and shifted her stance to her other leg. Crossing her arms across her chest, she glared at the new comer.
“What is he? The friggin queen? Don’t make such a damn fuss over him.” Rolling her eyes, she sighed again and looked up at the sky. “You guys didn’t make a big deal when Xmen was out in the cinema, so why are you getting all fussy now?”

 

Being confused by the multiple contact greetings humans have Zazabi thought it would be best to not ask about them but learn them as they happened. The usual greeting he knew of was through words. After hearing what Halezy had said he decided to take her advice and give it time until he builds trust with the team.

 

"That's because we could all agree back then,Emzy."
Now it's a bit different,although trying to build up trust with the team may be difficult,it's bound to happen eventually...Hopefully...
"Oh and while most of us are here...I suggested a member to come onto the squad...He's a long time friend of mine,his name is Zeonark."

 

Spaze felt slow after hearing Zoft mention Zazabi's name before she asked for it, even though he just said. Maybe no one was paying attention to her..."Well, my name is Spaze." she spoke up. "And its nice to meet you. At least I know you don't have eight arms..."

 

Zazabi turned to Spaze, "I am also glad I lack such a number of arms", he replied then listening to the others with the mention of another new member besides himself. Zeonark, an interesting name to Zazabi.

 

OOC: To make up for lost time :'D

Zahara was not too keen on welcoming a new alien to the team. She wasn’t good with new people; she had a terrible past with newbies. But now, she is a part of the Z Team, she has friends and she trusts them, but only to a certain point. She would be welcoming with the new alien; however she wasn’t exactly happy about it either.

She made her way down the hall, her black cloak swishing past her as she moved quickly, but silently down the hall to where part of the team were greeting the new alien. As she entered the room, she looked from Halzey to Emzy to Spaze and Zoft. Her gaze then met that of the creature hovering in the darkness that appeared to be somewhat more human than expected. It seemed they had already been introduced so she asked one simple question with a playful smirk on her face: “You speak English?â€

“Yes.â€

Amazed at the ability of the new alien who spoke English, she smiled and said: “Very well then, welcome to the team, however we are not at all happy about this arrangement. The team and I will be as nice as we possibly can – don’t expect much on your first day though.â€

The human-like alien smiled as if he were already aware of this.

“Oh and just another question. What is your name?â€

“Zazabi.â€

“Welcome Zazabi, my name is Zahara.†As she said this she removed her black hood to show her face in the light.

OOC: I wasn’t sure if I was in the room or not.

 

OOC: er... wait, did you just control my character?

 

Zoft crossed his arms as he closed his left eye.

There. I've introduced myself. Now let's read from where I left off. He didn't seem to have interest in the whole situation anymore, so he decided to sit on a chair and read in his comic book.

 

Emzy glared at Zahara as soon as she mentioned the word ‘nice’ in her sentence when referring to the team. Nice? Why would she want to be nice to the guy? He was an extraterrestrial being after all, therefore did not know whether to trust him or not. Heck, she barely trusted anyone these days; so much deceit to comprehend in just one team, especially with new starters. They always seemed to be right assholes.
“...How do we know to trust you?” She asked in a more demanding than querying tone. “I mean, you’re kinda like the odd one out here, and you’re an alien and such, so how do we know you aren’t going to go all Alien vs. Predator on our asses?” Shifting her stance again, she let her hands ruffle back into her pockets, looking at the new member from behind her glasses. “I’ve seen that film, you know. Those aliens in there can do some pretty freaky stuff; they slaughter people and their babies burst out of your goddamn stomachs. How do we know you can’t do that stuff, too?”

 

While Zoft was reading, he watched over the whole room.

Well well, what hatred and agony for that new guy... Is this all because you guys don't like him...?

He closed his comic book, and layed it on the table.

Stereotypes... Zoft said in himself. Besides, may something happen, I've got the situation under control. Zoft's eyes closed by the thought, putting his hands in a praying position in front of his face. I'm especially not too fond of the way Emzy's acting towards Zazabi, how 'funny' the Alien vs. Predator reference might've been... He opened his right eye slightly and looked towards Emzy.

Zahara let a smirk through when Emzy made the Alien vs. Predator remark. She still had second thoughts and she knew that a part of the team did aswell, especially Emzy. But this one didn't look that bad, he looked half-human anyway. But then again, that's when you're at your weakest point and they strike.

 

OOC: Nah, it's ok. I just got confused XD

BIC: Zazabi thought for a moment, he had seen a few human movies before. "I saw that movie when learning English, it doesn't compliment non-humans", he replied, "Although, I can assure you I am unable to turn into a man eating creature". Inside his head he was dying to crack a smile or laugh a little but in this situation anything he would do could be turned against him. He had to try and get the pressure off of him for only a bit. Getting them onto a work related topic might work, "When will the other new members arrive?" he asked.
