The problem with meta is that its so repetitive. People rarely make something innovative and when they do, they are immediately copied by everybody else if it works.

 

My personal view is that deck builds are meta, not archetypes. So if I made a Nekroz build without any rituals, for example, it wouldn't count as meta just because there is a build of Nekroz that is meta. That said, the other interpretation is perfectly valid.. So I will escape by saying that I played them before nekroz were meta, thus dodging the 'While it was meta' clause. If we're not using that clause, I've played a bunch of meta. Some HERO builds, Wind-up (No loop), Monarchs, TG, Dark World, Verz, ect. I even built a GB build recently.

 

Archetypes are considered meta and I pretty much agree with that point. However to that formula you can add how much this one particular build is relevant in game. You can play Nekroz deck with that one Ritual Spell Card that uses Normal monsters from your deck instead of vastly superior Nekroz Ritual Spell cards. It still can be considered meta, but also being an example of how to not play this deck. As for clause, lets say it does count. Something made that things meta. (Exclude if you played deck after it was meta.)

My decks are like that because of the type of player I am. I don't think it works that well for everyone.. although they would find other ways of play that matches me in consistency to where it doesn't really matter. Example: a deck with many options does not care about consistency as they can combo anything with everything.

 

RR won't become meta, cuz they lost to Fluffails in anime ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°). Spoilers BTW.

Now they can make rank 1 monster up to 3 materials by summoning just one (anime only). Or get free materials for tiger/wolf. RR guy did get shrekt indeed.
BTW their score should be 1:1, but due to convoluted bullshit Sora gains extra points just by playing Fluffals.

Thats what I was saying, I was relating consistency to the ability to combo and make many monsters out of very little.

 

Sorry, but don't try to convince me to start playing again. It's not going to work. I've made up my mind. I know you're only trying to help and I thank you for that but Yugioh just isn't fun for me anymore.

 

That has a lot to do with the deck itself in most cases.

I used Cryllic "с" and Cryllic "і" which are not the name as Latin "c" and Latin "i" but look exactly the same. Pretty clever huh? That was how I was able to say "shіt" and "bitсh".

Somebody doesn't have a sense of humor at all. Memes rarely get old. And if you are going and claim being a best Gishki player, just tell me how many games against current meta decks you actually managed to win with them? If you don't have at least 70% win rate I'm already a better Gishki player just by statistics. And I'm always right, unless you can prove I'm wrong. I don't see you as person being capable of proving me wrong. And I always will think I'm right, because by even letting myself to think that I might be wrong for no reason goes against having your own opinion. If you can accept being wrong just because somebody tells you you are, that makes you just another brick in the wall. Due to that I'm always right. I may not be one with right point of view, but I will be always right just because I refuse to just accept that I'm wrong. If you are annoyed by people with different point of view, then what are you doing on the internet, where there are tons of people with different point of view? BTW this leads to another thing, that nobody can be wrong, when it comes to stuff that cannot be simply proven by science. Does that make you double wrong? Because it for sure makes me triple right.

@Yakumo, I always wondered why you changed your icon into THAT.... And then, I coincidentially stumbled on the Tvtropes page of Yugioh Arc-V and GOSH DARN IT TO THE HECK YAKUMO. Now I understand. Though I don't know if I'll be ready for Sora if he does turn to pure evil... I mean, he reallly seems to care for Yuya and Yuzu unlike Vector (And even Vector turned good at the very last minute).

Anyways, I'm gonna scend Sora for god of Deliberately Cute Childs.
