1st you cannot activate effects of traps during turn you set them, 2nd you need to redo your move from activation of my card during your draw phase (you still conduct it, even if you don't draw during it if you are going first), 3rd you need to post their effects, otherwise it don't count.

Then during your end phase I activate effect of my Numeron Network, I activate effect of Numeron Storm from my deck.

If you control a "Numerronius" monster: Destroy all cards in your opponent's Spell & Trap Card Zones, and if you do, inflict 1000 damage to your opponent.

(Effect of Numeron Network works much like effect of Daimond Dude - I activate only effect of card, so I don't need to pay costs or meet requirements for activation. That'a a beauty of D1000 Tier.)

 

I usually just go right from Draw Phase to MP1 anyway since nothing happens during Standby Phase.

I just explained that I activate effect, not card. You basically only look at effect. You can see how it works with Diamond Dude, its almost the same, but more OP.
