Let me give you two pieces of information:
1st auto denial out of really obvious reason I explained before. Lets have some aesthetic standards here. Also putting them next to each other makes it easier.
2nd Joker is still broke as hell.

Ok, suggestions on how to make them acceptable? Joker doesn't reveal the opponent's hand by the way.

It doesn't matter if it reveals hand or not. It takes one of your opponent cards out of their hand, without cost, or condition that must be meet to do so. It can be special summoned, by having monster that can protect it (or if you control it you can special summon such monster). And its only level 4 with relatively high stats as for its effect.

For beginning I will stand with my resolve and give them my no automatically when they are presented in way that makes them harder to judge. Having to scroll every time to see their effects is annoying, and in result makes it harder to judge. You can always present them with cards effects in form of text, that just allows me to copy them and don't care how it looks.

Then, I suggest completely remodeling effect of Joker. Its too cheap to be accepted even as anime/manga exclusive.
As for Harley it could stand this way, if not for obviously broken effect of Joker.
Robin can open some nasty OTK with him adding any equip spell card. You should probably change it to one specific equip spell card, that doesn't open so many nasty OTK.
As with Buttman you should get rid off his negating ability/trap destruction ability. Right now its Wildman+++.

Joker can only use his effect once per turn. Also Batman can still be killed by traps that don't target such as Mirror Force.

Do you think that effect that makes you go +1 and your opponent -1 every once per turn just because you control monster that can inflict damage and can be special summoned without hard to meet condition is balanced? If yes, then there is no hope for you.
As for buttman, he have way to many positive effects as for LVL 4 monster that can Special Summon itself with easy to meet condition.

    How about these?

    Batman:

If this card is targeted by a Trap Card: Negate and destroy that card. If you control a "Vigilante Hero Robin": You can Special Summon this card from your hand. You can only use this effect once per Duel. Once per turn: You can destroy 1 face-up Trap Card on the field. You can only use this effect once per turn. You can only control one face-up "Vigilante Hero Batman" at a time. This card can not be used for a Synchro Summon or Exceed Summon.

    Robin:

If you control a face-up "Vigilante Hero Batman": You can Special Summon this card from your hand. If this card is Special Summoned this way, it gains this effect: Once per turn, during your Draw Phase: You can add 1 Equip Spell Card from your Deck to your hand instead of conducting your normal draw. You can only control one face-up "Vigilante Hero Robin" at a time. This card can not be used for a Synchro Summon or Exceed Summon.

Not sure what to do about Joker or Harley yet.

It seems like the way Yakumo sees it we aren't allowed to make GOOD customs though...I don't see what the big deal is...It's not like Konami has never made any broken cards before...If they can do it then why can't we have that right? And I'm trying to design Vigilante Heroes to be a GOOD archetype not a sucky one.

Why do I feel like there will be shitton of OGG errors and brokenness involved?
Oh maybe that's why? For beginning, there is no such thing as Exceed Summon, unless you play in China if I remember correctly. Second why are you keep using "can not" instead "cannot"? Meaning is the same in both cases and it only takes more space in card text (also looks ugly as hell for some reason).

Also those effects did not changed in way that would make them more balanced, and adding equip card during DP is pretty much so meh that only thing saving Rabin is its SS.

It actually has a different meaning. "This card cannot attack" would mean "This card is not allowed to attack, even if it would normally be able to." On the other hand, "This can can not attack" would mean "This card is allowed to not attack, even if it would normally be forced to attack."

You are allowed to make good cards, not broken ones. And its already sucky archetype, because its not archetype at all.

AND KONAMI CAN MAKE ALL THE BROKEN CARDS, BUT AT LEAST THEY BALANCE THEM IN SOME WAY BEFORE RELEASING. I DON'T SEE YOU BALANCING THEM ENOUGH TO LEVEL THEY ARE NOT JUST PLAIN CHEATING IN MOST OF CASES.
ALSO KONAMI OWNS THE GAME OF YU-GI-OH. THEY CAN DO ANY CARDS THEY WANT. IF YOU HAPPEN TO OWN THIS GAME THEN YOU HAVE MY PERMISSION TO MAKE ALL BROKEN CUSTOMS YOU WANT. BUT IF NOT, THEN LIKE HELL YOU CAN!

eh.. I really hope that all this writing in caps was worth it and certain somebody understood something... probably not...

Its a big deal because they break balance of game itself presenting AV model. Absolute Victory is situation, when card that is vastly superior to others is released in game. Long story short, in the end everybody would play card that fits AV model, causing game to become pure game of luck with one deck used, with the one that wins being player that plays AV card first. In arena, one to play AV card first is always first player, making going second (that is already hard task when your opponent knows what he is doing) impossible task.[DOUBLEPOST=1424549068][/DOUBLEPOST]
I did phase that wrong. I meant its the same meaning he meant (at least I hope he meant). Well with "This card can not be used for a Synchro Summon or Exceed Summon." its just (almost) useless piece of text that makes card harder to read. Proper one would be cannot in this case if it was to restrict something. If not, then again, whats a point in having this part of effect, except to counter that one card (that may not exist at all)?

'Exceed Summon' just sounds cooler. I just can't be bothered to say 'Xyz Summon'. How the ____________ do you even say 'Xyz Summon'?

It may sounds cooler, but is not proper term outside of China, so **** it.

Well, EXCUSE ME, MR. HIGH STANDARDS! If I wanna make custom cards and submit them, then doggone it, I WILL! And I won't let you stop me from doing otherwise because you're not in the right![DOUBLEPOST=1424549553][/DOUBLEPOST]Honestly, can you believe what Yakumo's puttin' down, Jaden?

Well I'm not stopping you from submitting them. I however am in right to demand from you to use proper terms. And high standards are always good thing for balance, so I take it as compliment.

EDIT: Funny thing is that my standards are pretty low from what they should be. If I used my high standards, well it would be fun... but only for me.

Indeed. I am seriously getting sick of all his rudeness. If he's going to criticize us and our customs he could at least be polite about it...[DOUBLEPOST=1424556338][/DOUBLEPOST]
Why are we not allowed to make customs just as good as cards Konami makes though? If anything my Vigilante Heroes are not any more broken than Blackwings are...

No Jaden I cannot be polite with both of you. Because if I would be polite it nothing would go trough your thick head. Think of me being polite towards you as a reward, not like its your right, because it isn't.

Because 2 cards you presented hold as much OTK value as Blackwings do, and I wonder what will happen when you actually manage to make them an archetype. From other 2, that are in no way VH, make combination more broken than anything we have in game. Even new versions that I didn't have time to go through completely are broken as hell.

And please do not compare existing archetypes to your at best series of cards, without understanding how they work. And I don't believe you know how they work. After all, you cannot keep up with real game in any way, to extend to extend that makes you not being able to accept changes in game.

Your Vigilante Heroes aren't much stronger than blackwings, which is why Yakumo said

"Robin can open some nasty OTK with him adding any equip spell card. You should probably change it to one specific equip spell card, that doesn't open so many nasty OTK.
As with Buttman you should get rid off his negating ability/trap destruction ability. Right now its Wildman+++."

I agree with him on both counts. They're not stupidly OP, but they are strong, and the ability to search anything with Robin could lead to some easy OTKs.

However, what is super powerful is The Joker. The first incarnation was kind of like Pot of Greed, only much better. Not only does it give you the same costless, conditionless +1, it also takes a card away from your opponent. Adding to that, you can reuse it every turn. That's why Yakumo thinks it's such a terrible card.

Harley is a perfectly fine card, if The Joker weren't OP, which is also precisely what Yakumo said. If you can look past the aggressive tone and the fact that he can over react a bit to cards that are too strong, a lot of what he says is very useful.
