Just go first and strangle all of his card out of him before he can do anything. That's what he does.

 

I don't really care so much if I lose in this case. I DO want the RP to have a happy ending. But that doesn't mean I'll let him win easy or that I won't at least try to put up a fight.

EDIT: Also, I understand that you just wanted to help a friend and I appreciate that but I don't recommend giving hints or coaching. I mean it's not like he's some kind of boss in a videogame who it's ok to give people a walkthrough on how to beat...

Heck, Coaching someone or giving them hints during a Duel is something that you can actually get in trouble for in actual tournaments...

 

Oh come, Jaden! You can't be serious! The Evil Hero deck is one of the best decks ever. With a good hand, you can beat anything!

Aaaaaah… I still remember! I choose second turn, I had Dark Calling, Malicious Edge, Enraged Muka Muka, Energy Drain and Magic Cylinder. Best random hand EVER. Then my turn came and *BAM*! Infernal Gainer was the next card I draw. You can guess what happened next. Heck, SirFred131 even tried to use my own Dark Gaia against me! Cue Magic Cylinder and game over.

*disk scratches*

But I lost the rematch. It was humilliating. Worst hand ever! I even swapped Big Bang Shot with Super Poly to get a shot at Fusion Summoning Escuridao, but NO! I never got the chance to do so! I didn't even get a chance to anything in general!

It doesn't matter, though. I'm very fond of the little hellions of my deck. They earned me a win against another pro-level duelist and made me justice (no irony intended) against a HERO-Gods deck.

So, in conclusion, Evil Heroes works best here. :D

Mmm.. Dunno. And probably I wouldn't be able to handle Dark World. I'm very forgetful when it comes to effects. Especially if they are effects from the Graveyard. Rather ironic considering I usually do better with those effects.

Oh, and I don't handle Madolche very well on the random format. I'm hoping that it will do it better here))

Well I'm not exactly the best person to be talking to about what works in the real game considering I literally haven't Dueled in like maybe 2 or more years now...

But based on what I've seen Dark World works best combined with Evil Heroes. I saw this one guy on DN who used Evil Heroes back when I still played and he had Dark World in addition to a few rock-types as support for Dark Gaia.

Jay.. First, I'm not a pro. Second you've beaten my best deck. The best deck I've ever made. And you beat it once in only three games. That's a deck that could fight toe to toe with Dino Rabbits in their prime and win games, even if it couldn't take matches. Beating them with something that isn't meta is impressive. Even if you didn't make the deck yourself, you played it better than I played my Fables, and I know more about my Fables than anyone else does.

Also, I haven't picked up (figuratively) a strong deck in a while. I was using an Archfiend build that runs The Supremacy Sun. I think as you are now you'd win a match against Abby without too much trouble. With either HEROs or Blackwings.

Ladies and gentleman, Toon-Girl-Abby has shown to everyone on the Arena WHY she's the best person to RP Misa Amane and Pinie Pie!/sarcasm. Completely missing the point, indeed...

Well, I don't care if someone knows! :P I play for fun! And it's not like I posted the Harpie deck I was gonna use against WhiteRose-Aki.

I was lucky against both SirFred131 and GREGORY7. In the latter's case, he was using Numbers and I was almost scr**ed and could only stall for time.

I remember I was crossing fingers so he wouldn't destroy Ocean till I've got a Dark Fusion/Calling. I could summon Wild Cyclone, stop his Monsters with Shadow Spell, and summon Lightning Golem, Dark Gaia and Infernal Sniper to Hell Shot him with extreme prejudice his LP. He used Dark Hole to send both Shadow Spelled Monsters to the toilet, along with my Evil Heroes, but Infernal Sniper stayed and I Hell Shot'ed him to death in the winning turn.

EDIT: SirFred131, Jaden's not talking about you. I have a pro-level duelist amigo on DN that I told Jaden I beat. But it was purely luck, as I already mentioned above))

Do you mean random or non-random? Here's the thing, the arena and the real game are very different. Doing well in one has nothing to do with doing well in the other. I've said this before. I can tell you for a fact that it's possible to suck at the real game but own in the arena. Right now I would suck major balls in the real game. But it's still very easy for me to beat someone here.[DOUBLEPOST=1403214950][/DOUBLEPOST]And also, what nobody but me seems to understand is that the real game is not about skill. It's pure luck. It doesn't matter how skilled you are. You could still lose to someone who you're 10x better than all because of luck being a part of this game. You never know for sure which player is going to win. It could always go either way. Even though the better player WILL usually win. Still this game only allows the player who had the better luck to win. And to me that is completely unfair. I had already made up my mind that I wasn't gonna play it anymore even before the banlist got so ridiculous. And also as I said before, For awhile I had just been trying to see the best in this game and believe that it was about skill because of how the anime made it look that way. But eventually I came to realize how wrong I was about that. Because in the anime the characters all always magically draw exactly what they need in order to win. As I've told you on occasion before, one of the two duels that I won was a very close match that I thought I would lose until the very end when my Fables came through for me when I had run out of options. The first duel you had reasonably good luck and I had reasonably bad luck, yes.. But my Fables are amazingly good at recovery. If you had held back in fear of over-committing instead of going all out I would have recovered and gotten back to my very fluid plays. There are a lot of duelists, probably myself included, who wouldn't have pushed as hard and would have let me recover and possibly win the game. From the feeling I got playing you, I'd say that if we had played another set of three the chances you would have won all three are almost zero and the chances you would win two are low.. But the chances you would win one are good. My losing to you wasn't a one in a million thing. Maybe losing without really putting up a fight was, but I think you could keep up a rate close to or even better than one win in every three.

In non-random it wouldn't be a question. In random I think you'd win matches easily, but some of them would be 2-1 instead of 3-0.
