Then I have bad news for you:
I'm seriously losing interest in Yugioh big time. This just isn't fun anymore...I don't know when or if I'm gonna feel like Dueling again...

Yes, you found it amusing, lol. The Diety of Hope may be too strong an character to do anything at all in the story, so I explained away her reduced role of gravekeeper that way. Well, that, and I found that pic, thought of you and I decided that it shouldn't go to waste.

Aaaaaaaaw~ Why is that so? I really miss you here… The RP is simply not the same without you…

I only brought all those characters in the first place to duel you… Only they stayed 'cause of the malevolent Void's Mirai Nikki-like rules in the RP.

I did duel before knowing this place, but it was you who inspired me… I wouldn't be half as good as I am (in random) if it wasn't because I found this website and proposed myself to become better at the game. I'd have stayed noob longer, believe me. I do not possess a real Deck, for starters. And my parents usually find a way to spoil my fun…

    So let's get this straight.

Players no longer draw a card for the first draw phase of a duel. (Does this state both players can't draw until after 2nd Turm?)
2 field spells can be active on the field at one time.

And of course Pendulums being well, a handless Inferno Reckless Summon.

    1. Half-right, the Player who goes first can't draw or attack on their very first turn.
    2. Correct.

Okay, two Field Spells at once, I can kind of work with that.

First Player has to hope he draw something worthwhile to increase their hand size.

I think most odd for those whoa re so sued to drawing cards will find it somewhat weird to not draw on the first turn.

What do you mean? the new rules balance the game. obviously going first means you have a better chance at winning if you have an extra card than the opponent going second in random duels >.> you will always have an extra card that the opponent going second will never get. Besides, this lowers the chances of people setting 5 cards face-down turn one in random because 5 is all you'll get. also, this stops people from summoning a bunch of monsters in one turn and just have more resources than the player going second all together.

What are you talking about? 5 facedowns hardly happens often at all in random.

But yes I see your point. Still this will really take getting used to. I'm not sure I can handle it.

Dino rabbits could consistently open 5 face-downs back when they were meta. it was a thing. sometimes they could even summon a monster who could negate any S/T or a thing that negates any 2 monster effect activations along with those 5 face-downs. And while we're on the subject, I would like to also mention how this weakens exodia players too. not sure how that's a bad thing.

When you're running about 12 monsters and 10 spells, 2/3 of which are duality, you open five traps a fair amount with six draws.

I already said this. And I'll repeat it for your convenience.

    BAN PENDULUMS.

Let this Arena be your New World, Kira. (Lol ;) )

As for the other changes, I dunno. We may condition duels to have the old format.

Nah... No reason for that. Banning Pendulums won't make this game less broken.

The situation with Pendulums is exactly the same as with XYZ or Synchro Summoning. People just rage because they loose to them shortly after they were introduced or just can't accept any changes.

Plus Pendulums aren't really that hard to beat.

I disagree with you here. Synchro and Xyz summoning both share the idea of combining multiple monsters to make a new and powerful monster. In other words, spend material to get board advantage so that you can convert that into material advantage.
Pendulum summoning, however, is very different. Each pendulum monster can keep being summoned again for free. If you have five pendulum monsters in your extra deck, you can fill your entire field for free. Completely costless. And then if you tribute those monsters, or use them for a synchro or fusion summon? Or if they get destroyed by battle or a card effect? They just go back to the extra deck so you can summon them again next turn.
So while Synchro/Xyz are "spend material > get board advantage > get material advantage" Pendulum summons are just "get board and material advantage > get more advantage"

Yes, you can prevent your opponent from pendulum summoning by destroying one of the scales.. But destroying it will cost you a card, just like setting it cost them, and the card you destroyed will just go into the extra deck to be summoned for free when they pull off a Pendulum Summon next turn. You can't even stop them with Macro, since they return to the extra deck anyway.

I can't disagree with you on that. But it's not a reason to ban pendulums. And situation is the same as with XYZ or Synchro (I will say it to be sure you understand what I'm talking about: they don't share the same idea on their mechanic, but how people react is exactly the same). Konami introduce new mechanic to game because TV Show > People go mad because why new, old was better/I already lost to them/I can't use them > People slowly get used to it and accept it as part of the game.

Konami really don't care about how broken it is. In best turn of events they will limit some more overpowered stuff.

Only limit worth pendulum cards that were shown yet are Qliphoths (and only some of them).

Also scumbag Konami makes cards and then realizes how bad they are and ban them (just to unban them later).
