Ok. There is only one ruling to Dark Synchro monsters and it's TF ruling. Dark Synchro monsters are working as subcategory of Synchro monsters. And they are usually dark.

In Magic Set Editor. It have downloadable template for Yu-Gi-Oh cards. You need to download it thought.

 

Hmm.. In that case, I think I'll stick with my current image. This set is designed to work in random or non-random, and it's slightly odd using a Dark Synchro card appearance in random.

 

Well effect still could get some work in way of interpretation. Does that card mean all of banished cards or cards banished by this card effect. And I think this card ends up having no effect thought we don't have banish in Yu-Gi-Oh.
(EDIT: Plus random =/= real game.)

 

The card wording does need some work.. it's an old card and I didn't feel like rewriting it. And they officially changed remove from play to banish.

Oh looks like I missed it. So card have effect. And back on track appearance of card don't change anything. Only thing that matters is card text.

 

Since the card does not specify that it counts the amount of cards currently banished, it is implied that it counts only the cards banished by its own effect. The effect works. The line where it says about damage does look weird though..

EDit: oh, I guess you were talking about that part of the effect, not the end..

Better, but there is no point in telling that dark synchro monster is synchro monster.

 

The YCM formatting means that if I don't have it also say Synchro it will be colored like an effect monster.

 

Instead of first two lines of text you should have something like this:
1 non-Tuner monster - 1 Dark Tuner monster
You can only Synchro Summon this card if the Level of non-Tuner Synchro Material Monster minus the Level of the Dark Tuner monster is equal to -5.

 

The + vs. - thing is something I thought about and decided using the standard + would be better from a card legality point of view. Perhaps it would be just as good the other way. Don't know. Since Consuming Flames is not treated as being level -5 (again, easier to deal with), the second line is equivalent. Reversed order of subtraction = reversed sign.

 

Problem is that it's effect is just too good for normal synchro monster. If you remove part about being dark synchro monster and effect that lets you draw it would be perfectly fine. Plus no one just simply makes dark synchro monster with positive level. And funny fact. If in Tag Force game you use Dark Synchro monster for another synchro summon (as material) it's level is threated as positive one (-5 level monster for synchro summon is treated as level 5 monster). EDIT: At least it used to work this way.

 

It does say it can and must be SS'd using dark tuner level - non-tuner level = its level.

 

Ok it's effect of Hundred Eyes Dragon from Tag Force (EDIT: Dark Synchro Version):
"1 non-Tuner monster - 1 Dark Tuner
This card can only be Synchro Summoned if the Level of the non-Tuner Synchro Material Monster minus the Level of Dark Tuner Synchro Material Monster equals -8. If this card attacks, your opponent cannot activate Spell or Trap Cards until end of the Damage Step. While this card is face-up on the field, it gains the effects of all "Infernity" monsters in your Graveyard. If this card is destroyed while on the field, select 1 card from your Deck and add it to your hand."

 

No offense but are you seriously too lazy to even do a palette swap? At least do SOMETHING to make them different instead of just using the images of real cards I mean come on...
