Ghosts would stop working after losing a duel. their duel disks would be a bit different than the organic people, but they'd still cause someone to go red if killed by them.

 

I'm thinking about ghost being destroyed. Will person who destroys it turn red?

Seeing how Jesse just disappeared, it would be awkward for him to reappear like nothing happened. Well, I guess he could.. but no. Not right now.
