First, I summon the Tuner monster, Twilight Rose Knight, from my hand!


And because I normal summoned this monster, I can special summon a Level 4 or lower Plant-Type monster from my hand, so I special summon Violet Witch from my hand.


Next, I play the field spell card, Black Garden. Now, whenever a monster is special summoned to the field when this card is in play, its ATK will be halved and a Rose Token will be special summoned to the opponent's side of the field.


And I end my turn.

Very well, I'll call out my Summoner Monk and activate his special ability, but first since I summoned a monster, Black Garden activates and reduces Monk's ATK in half but you gaina Rose Token on your side of the field.


WIth it, I can discard a Spell Card from my hand and Special Summon 1 Monster from my deck so, I discard my Fusion Gate.


And call forth a familiar sight to you, I call forth Elemental HERO Shadow Mist whose ATK is halved and you gain another Rose token.

If this card is Special Summoned: You can add 1 "Change" Quick-Play Spell Card from your Deck to your hand. If this card is sent to the Graveyard: You can add 1 "HERO" monster from your Deck to your hand, except "Elemental HERO Shadow Mist". You can only use 1 "Elemental HERO Shadow Mist" effect per turn, and only once that turn.

My Monk's effect goes off without a problem and Shadow Mist comes out and I use his effect to add a Form Change to my hand.


Target 1 "HERO" Fusion Monster you control; return that monster to the Extra Deck, then Special Summon from your Extra Deck, 1 "Masked HERO" monster with the same Level as the original Level of the returned monster but with a different name. (This Special Summon is treated as a Special Summon with "Mask Change".

Actually it just means that she can't activate her trap card. Since she recognized her mistake on her own and fixed it before you or a rules mod replied, no strike is awarded. Either way, she would keep the face-down.

I don't think so, I activate this Quick play card in response to De-Fusion, Mask Change! I target Core and send him to the Graveyard and with it, I can Transformation Summon that monster into a new one, Arise, a new breed of HERO than Elemental or Destiny! Come Masked HERO Dian!

And with this, De-fusion has no target and therefore the timing is missed.

 

Missing timing has literally nothing to do with this.. But it does indeed resolve without effect.
